KING RIVER RAFTING

Had a fantastic day rafting the King River earlier this week with King River Rafting. Organisation and the equipment provided were very good. And the guides were great, making sure we had a safe but REALLY FUN time shooting the rapids and enjoying the river.

Cradle Mtn was good but the Highlight of our trip was the white water rafting. Dean and the team did a great job getting us down the river, train was also great experience with great history. Enjoy the beers Dean for this great review

An experience to remember for sure!
We did the Half day rafting and steam train back. Perfect duration.
All 3 of our guides were amazing. I must say your safety briefing was perfectly thorough but entertaining at the same time. Very safe experience and good knowledge from all guides about the rafting and even the area knowledge.
Don't take your GoPro. We lost ours: (maybe someone will find it some day.
Great experience! Thanks to Ben our Ship Captain we obviously had the best crew & cheer even though Riley and Dean's teams did try there best.: P Hopefully the boss can shout all 3 a beer! Well deserved.

Great day. Fun, exciting, beautiful. Guides were awesome, everyone lovely. Highly recommended.

Had awesome weather for a ride down river. Paul was great at steering us through the tricky rapids. We did get wet. Very wet. Wet suits, shoes, helmets and all equipment supplied. Swimmers underneath very helpful for quick change before boarding waiting train for return trip home. Did need to exit boat and climb around rocks to avoid a definite boat flip. This was challenging for some but felt well supported by staff and had ropes and footholds to guide. Would highly recommend the raft and rail version as we had river do most of the work. The all day option required more paddling and less rapids after meeting up with train. Highly recommend.

We had an awesome time on the full day King for a day with Ollie and Nathan our guides. Both were really patient and absolutely unflappable. Very professional team both on and off the river.
We experienced some good rafting with lots of drenching and plenty of bumps and a relaxing trip down the river after lunch. The portage around the grade 5 water is well managed. The climb is not the easiest, but there are plenty of ropes, steps and convenient trees to help you along the way.
This is a family run business that treats the guides as part of the family. It is lovely see such a happy group of people working together. The whole operation is very well run. Booking was super easy via the website.
Every thing you need for the day is supplied and is all well maintained.
Lunch was tasty and there was plenty of it.
