King Island Green Ponds Guest House & Cottage B&B reviews
7 Quiet and cosy, ths B&B is central located in Currie.
Sonia is a congenial hostess, knowledgeable, and 'in touch' but in no way intrusive.
Just absolutely love this place, Sonia, the owner operator is adorable, Hostess with the Most 'ess' ready and willing to make your stay the best you have had anywhere.sue
Sonia went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable. A very warm and friendly experience for us.
We had a marvellous stay (19-24 Feb. 2020) celebrating a 70th birthday. 3 couples in a delightful B&B. Sonia's hospitality is amazing. How can we forget the scones, cheese and crayfish and the fire in the evenings not to mention her local knowledge and history of the island.

Green Ponds Cottage and hostess, Sonia, made our stay absolutely perfect! We arrived to a warm cosy cottage with radio playing. Both fridge and pantry were fully stocked with fresh food, fruit, bread, home-made marmalade and quince jelly as well as milk and delicious King Island cheeses (huge packs). The garden at the cottage is very pretty with not only parsley but also an apple and a tamarillo tree both bearing fruit. The bed was very comfortable and hot water system efficient. The location is very convenient to town of Currie and the perimeter hedge shields cottage from the winds and provides privacy too. Sonia even brought us home baked scones during our stay and we thoroughly enjoyed everything and hope to return another time.
