Jo and Co Café reviews
25My big penguin breakfast was great. Good value. Hot and tasty. Partner had the wrap which she loved
Friendly and beautiful staff!
Enjoyed a rainy catchup with a friend - totally amazing view overlooking the ocean and Big Penguin!
Hot chips were thin and wonderfully seasoned!
Place is a lot larger than it looks from outside too!
Wonderful staff and lovely atmosphere. We only ordered drinks, however, we would return again to order food.
Went in for breakfast and was given a menu. Waited and waited for order to be taken. Meanwhile people being seated outside placing food orders before us. Got up after 20 minutes and left.
10/10 for being open today on Easter Friday
the share box for 2. I pre-ordered and it was ready and waiting when I arrived and oh so yummy. Can’t beat good fish and chips by the ocean in Penguin
Saw another customer's meal through the window, so decided to go back later for lunch.
We got the BLT, & a beef burger which had everything a burger might normally come with. Both came on a Turkish roll, with chips (we had sweet potato chips - delicious). Fresh & tasty. Very filling. Green smoothy was tasty. Staff pleasant.
Would eat there again.
We had breakfast here twice on the weekend! The food was delicious and very well priced. The smashed avo was so tasty, and the Big Penguin breaky was really good value & so yummy.
The food took a while to come out on our first visit but that didn't stop us coming back again on Sunday.
The kids area at the back of the cafe is really good too, the kids loved playing in there.
True warmth, hearty traditional food, excellent tea and coffee.
And a great view.
I stopped here on my most recent trip to Tasmania and after struggling to choose between so many delicious options at such good prices, I had the falafel wrap with a flat white. Not only was the food delicious, but I was overwhelmed by the hospitality and kindness of the staff. I left my bag in the cafe and the owner generously took care of it and posted it to my sister’s place in Hobart. I would recommend them to anyone!
My wife being celiac she loved all the gluten free options highly recommend please visit if in the area.
I had the best macchiato coffee here. The daily specials were pumpkin or cauliflower+cheese soup, or lamb souvlaki. We shared a bowl of excellent sweet potato chips on a chilly day. The young lady was friendly and welcoming.
Best breakfast in Penguin and the price is right. We had the big penguin and it was perfectly cooked and the pancake with bacon, maple syrup, banana and add a fried egg it was perfect too. Well done
Delicious coffee and walnut chocolate brownie to die for!
We popped into here on a rainy day looking to get a coffee and kill some time before heading to Launceston.
Ended up having some Fantastic coffee well made by the barista and even better brownie! I can't stress enough how good this brownie was, soft, chocolatey and rich! A must try!
I dropped in for a late lunch. They were more than accommodating to make a fresh wrap.delicious!
Would have taken a pic before I started drinking if I knew how amazing the coffee would be! If you want a soy flat white, don't be cautious or concerned about getting a dodgy one, honestly one of the best made coffees I've had out (that's coming from an ex barista!). Took me by most pleasant surprise, from beginning to bottom of cup
I had the truckers breakfast which was so big I fell into a food coma and wandered out in a daze without paying. I recommend the huge breakfast but pay before you leave or they will pursue you up the street. ;-)
A consistently good establishment with freshly prepared food, excellent coffee and friendly staff. A cut above their competition in Penguin.
Great Brekky Wrap and Eggs Benny at this eclectic cafe in the main Street of Penguin Very generous serves, great coffee.
Good decaf coffees and nice sweets, friendly service and nice bright spot overlooking the penguin and ocean
