Jack Greene Bar reviews
64 It’s a good place for spend time with friends.
Toilet is cleaning, and dark beer is really good.
A really cosy spot for a casual meal right in the heart of Salamanca. We had drinks (beers and cocktails - all excellent) with a generous and well priced antipasto plate. The atmosphere was warm and inviting while the sole, very hard working, Batman friendly and accommodating. Thank you!
Such a great spot for an afternoon drink we were wandering around Hobart and stopped in for a cold drink and stayed for a snack the mini Burgers are incredible the atmosphere is really nice and the young person behind the bar was so cheerful today Friday 15th sept
Sunday lunch burgers are cheap as chips
But still pretty good. Nice atmosphere and staff were pleasent.
We flew into Hobart and after checking into our hotel, we were looking for a bite to eat at around 3pm.
We stopped in here as the burgers looked good. When we ordered via the app, something went wrong and our order didn't go through. The gentleman behind the bar was apologetic and immediately prioritised our order to ensure we weren't waiting long.
Once the food came out (which didn't take long), it was really, really good. The burgers were juicy and well-constructed without being soggy or greasy.
The chips were a standout - thick cut with some of the best chip seasoning I've ever tasted! Kudos to whoever came up with this combo, they were amazing.
Would absolutely recommend Jack Greene.
Rude service, asked to be gone by 10 minutes prior to booking stated time. Unprofessional, disappointed.
Poor service and value, never seen such a small burger in their minis -the kids laughed when it came out it was such a joke. The main burgers were a game of find the burger in the bun, jug of coke was mostly ice, classic tourist trap.
Cheap food, expensive prices. Everything tasted like it was from cooked from frozen. Certainly not gormet
We waited for two burgers for 2 hours! We were hungry and could not wait any longer. Finally, I canceled the order, got my money back and was told- sorry.
Great vibe. Happy hour till 7 PM on Friday. Good selection of tap beer and cider. Decent food menu, however I was not too happy with my spiced mojito. But loved the live music.
Very good happy hour cocktails. Pizza was nice. It is very crowded and noisy often, and because of that it can be a long wait for a drink.
Awesome atmosphere, a great place to sit and people watch outside under the heaters and the staff are very knowledgeable
Sweet potato chips are to die for (big servings) and the burgers are a little on the pricey side (especially for veggie burgers) but are delicious. A good range drinks and there are heaters in the outdoor area. My only criticism is that the service was very slow. It wasn't busy at all but I spent five minutes standing at the bar waiting, then gave up and ordered from the QR code on the table and it still took 15+ minutes for our drinks to come.
Best happy hour in Hobart. Great craft beers on tap all half price. Food is yummy too. Had the fried broccoli and is a unique but pleasant experience.
Do not go here. Service super slow. Friend had a regular cheese burger - it was a carelessly slapped together bun with patty and half melted cheese. Clearly zero interest in food prep or presentation.
Dropped in while in Hobart from South Australia. Half price burgers on a Sunday pulled us in for lunch, and they were pretty good! Wine list concise but very good. Minor confusion when we were presented at our table with take-away instead of dine in, and once that was resolved the burgers were not very hot unfortunately.
Otherwise recommended.
Messed up an order and delayed another one. BUT. I got a full refund on both without asking. People make mistakes however quality of food was great. 5 stars in my books.
I really enjoyed the live entertainment and also a pulled pork burger which was fantastic. Staff was nice and my only grievance was the limited selection of meals but what they do offer is really good quality.
Half priced burger on Sundays is ok but really does not worth to pay full price.
Drinks ok, live music very good
Friday happy 2 hrs great value across all craft beers on tap and $10 cocktails. Gets very busy. Food option to match go down well.
Fun vibe in the Salamanca strip.
