I'm in Heaven reviews
10Aptly named- what a find! We had been searching for Devonshire Tea for a while and we were not disappointed. Friendly service, nice setting and the best Devonshire Tea we've ever had. The china is beautiful and we really enjoyed the Scottish Breakfast tea.
A bit biased as it is our go to place as the place, food, ambience and the service has not changed since our visits to the place began, many years ago.
We had such a wonderful afternoon tea here. The food was divine and tasted homemade, the atmosphere was beautiful and reminiscent of bygone eras. I would highly recommend to anyone.
A quiet place with a serene ambience anda service which can't be faulted. The only blemish is that it can be full and would need to book on occasions.
We have been here several times, and it's always a delight. The lunch menu is not large, but everything is delicious and well presented, and the service cannot be faulted. There is a great selection of teas.
Yes, I WAS in heaven this day for sure, after a visit with my partner for lunch, it felt like we had walked into the past, well sort of, it's a quaint little cafe which made me feel like I was sitting down to lunch somewhere in the 1800's, the old style timber chairs and tables and decor was just lovely to sit among while waiting to have our order taken, the cafe was full after we arrived but we still got served promptly, it was lovely just to sit and take in this wonderful atmosphere of quietness and beautiful furnishings, I did not want to leave this little cafe, I just felt happy and peaceful sitting and looking, highly recommend.
Rude and arogant. They assume people know the location. I was a visitor, no signage to inform visitors of situation entering store. Bad advertisement for tourists visiting Ulverstone. Couldn't believe the rudeness and ignorance of the owner and clowns sitting around the table. Nothing in here any different to more friendly stores/cafes elsewhere in Ulverstone with better atmosphere and views. Try fixing it rather than mouthing off about customers behind their back and winging (I heard them, others probably haven't) as it has obviously been a recuring situation with the entry. Rude beyond belief.
What a wonderful find was "I'm in Heaven"! I've experienced many High Teas but it would be hard to beat this little gem in Ulverstone, Tasmania. $30 treats you to Bubbles on arrival, followed by a pot of piping hot tea. The 3 tiers of treats included finger sandwiches (superb!), warm scones with jam and cream and 5 delicious sweet treats. Yumm! "I'm in Heaven" gives you the true High Tea experience with lots of accoutrements. But don't forget to book in advance. Many thanks to the hard working staff.
Lovely cafe and gift shop. A very pretty layout inside with umbrellas hanging from the roof. It was lovely
