ibis Styles Hobart

Room rate was overpriced and the same lousy breakfast food in the restaurant for the whole three days. We also need to pay for car parking at the hotel. We were totally ripped off.

We were very happy with our accommodation, the check-in and out experience. The room size and facilities were adequate. Thev room was cleaned satisfactorily each day. Breakfasts had every choice possible and the cooked food was cooked well. The evening menu was poor for vegetarians and some choices could not be converted to V which was odd given there were noodle choices. We could nit pick about the Restaurant staff clearing plates that were not finished with or not allowing guests to sit at particular tables as they were trying to set these up for a later event despite this setup occuring during designated breakfast time but it was minor inconveniences.

Stayed here on 3 occasions now. The first time we had a room with bad acoustic. There is a pipe that vibrates profusely behind the wall sometimes, and it was pretty noisy when someone opens the door, or walk by. However, the other 2 stays were great for us, so I guess it depends which room location you get! Location, swimming pool, and gym are great. I think this is a very good choice for its price.

Good but There are prosituts and ladies of the night in the hotel bad news stay clear John

We were very happy to spend 2 night and food was so good (bravo chef!)

Rooms were very very small, had to ask for the bathroom to be cleaned again as it had mould on floor and in shower, toilet seat was broken they fixed it twice.payed far to much for the standard.doors bang all night when another rooms door is opened or shut

Incredible experience to be able to stay in the hotel. It was clean, convinient for traveling around Hobart and very comfortable. Especially, the hotel service was really great. One day in the morning, I aked the front staff if I can go to the Long Beach (which was 10 minutes away from hotel) by bus. He not only shared the location for bus stop, but also proposed taking me to the beach since he was about to finish his shift and his home was very close to the site where I wanted to visit. His name was Sohaib. I think? I appreciate your kindness. Wish stay this hotel again when I visit Hobart next time.

The Ibis Hobart has a great location, close to shops and restraints. There is a main road in front of the hotel, but you can’t hear it inside your room. The rooms are also new and modern inside and the staff is also very friendly and helpful. The only negative I would say is that you must pay for parking on site and all the nearby streets, which is the same over all the CBD of Hobart.

Our 4 day stay at the hotel ibus Hobart was very pleasant until upon checkout the desk staff took 40 mins of our time to query a booking mistake THEY has made! We were expected at another function and arrived late. One staff member used gesticulations as I walked out, witnessed by my daughter! We won't stay there again. It spoilt our trip. I did question why they had not attempted to contact me during my stay to discuss the issue. We had booked 6 months earlier and they wanted us to search through our emails with our toddler present and a taxi waiting. Poor service! My daughter emailed them a month before with an update and we never heard back. I will be emailing Accor HQ to cancel our family membership too.

Whilst the room was clean and comfortable, it was pretty small. Just a bed and bathroom. Nowhere to sit.
The staff were friendly, the breakfast was lovely, no little bottles of shampoo and conditioner, the pool was freezing and our included parking, was not included after all. Good location but very noisy from the air-conditioning units next door.

Great location for doing lots of things in and around Hobart. Love that they had a close by parking option when their own parking was full

Spent 5 days here while visiting Tasmania,
Very nice location, easy to get to very central. Rooms a little small but still very nice. Really nice shower. Happy to recommend

A great location well within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants and transport, serviced by very friendly and helpful staff and all at extremely good value.

Lovely relaxing hotel great front desk service and superb pool.
The only big let down was a fire alarm went off there was no announcement and no one showed up on the floor.
Fire doors slammed closed and when I rang reception they said they would get back to me.
Needs to be so much better organised with announcements so guests know what is happening.
Not just be fobbed off when you see the manager with no apology at all.
If it were a real situation and there was a fire we were on our own to work it out.

This is a really great hotel in a decent location, at a decent price. The place is spotless and the restaurant really well run. The breakfast was great. Thanks!

Stayed overnight at IBIS Styles Hobart in 2 connecting rooms. The rooms were clean, comfortable & well equipped. Did miss the usual complimentary body wash, shampoo & conditioner in the bathroom- there was a 3 in 1 liquid in a bottle fixed on wall instead, not very comfortable with that.
The pool, sauna & gym area was absolutely amazing! Clean, attractive, inviting & well equipped! Fabulous!
Breakfast buffet was quite extensive & catered to all tastes & needs. Very delicious indeed! However, the portions for cooked food were massive & most people were unable to eat it all- lots of food getting wasted! Maybe we could get an option of choosing small/ medium or large portion?
Overall the stay was fabulous- from friendly smiling staff, clean rooms & all amenities to being pampered with a bottle of wine & chocolates on special occasions! A stay at Obis Styles Hobart is highly recommended!

Great room with nice views, responsive and helpful staff, good location near to Hobart CBD area and waterfront too! Food was good with a wide variety and very happy with the smart tv in the room which allowed streaming from phone.

We stayed here for 2 nights, but we were told to park our car out of hotel carparking as it was full. Every early morning I had to move car on the congested road. It's a very amazing experience! Thanks to friendly hotel staff to recommend the experience I never had in any other cities, even Melbourne!

What a shame! The hotel does not fit in at all with the rest of this wonderful city and its charming historic buildings. Mass instead of class, but they probably skimped on the architect here.you could also have built a nice hotel.
