Wow! What a delightful afternoon with Marc and the crew! Sailing up the Harbour with 17 knots of wind, checking out the new Antarctica icebreaker and then the beautiful calm coming downwind under spinnaker. Mark’s wife made some delicious scones with cream and jam and that was also a great cheese platter. Thanks guys was fantastic.

We did the 3 hour afternoon Derwent River Charter. Skipper Mark was fantastic, involving and relaxing everyone. There was even an opportunity to steer the yacht for those interested. It was a great sailing experience on a yacht that had completed several Sydney to Hobart races. Highly recommended way to spend half a day in Hobart. The homemade scones were a delicious bonus!

I've had a couple of trips with Hobart Yachts - I know the owner - and I loved them both. The boats are great, beautifully maintained, and the on board service is terrific. And of course Hobart is such a great place to go sailing.

We did the morning sailing tour on the river and had a great time on the boat! The crew were all very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. Will recommend this to everyone that’s heading down to hobart and has a few hours and wants to be out on the water with some nice scenery!

Definitely a highlight of my trip to Hobart. The crew were very friendly and laid back. Finn, in particular, has a great sense of humour and provided good commentary. You really can be as involved (or not) as you like. Don't be afraid to have a go steering the boat, or pulling in a line. Dress warm, can be chilly particularly if the sun isn't out. 10/10 would do this daily it's that good

Thoroughly enjoyable Helsal IV is a beautiful old girl Mark and his crew where apart from great Sailors great tour guides and not bad at History all made a fantastic morning on the Derwent

We had Derwent river trip with Hobart Yachts this afternoon, and absolutely amazing, we loved every minute of it! Mark Baz and Marsha were lovely, funny, knowledgeable, and the weather was perfect, they were really generous with food as well, delicious scones and Tasmanian cheese platter, with good coffee! Highly recommend this trip! Reasonable price, amazing experience, a must do in Hobart definitely! We are actually thinking about more trips with Hobart yachts to port Davey, east coast. Thank you Mark Marsha and Baz for the amazing trip!

We were lucky enough to enjoy a great experience during our honeymoon on the Derwent with Hobart Yachts.
Skipper Mark and the Skipper from the other sister boat, Baz, were the perfect guides. We were taught a bit of sailing basics, showed the sights with a bit of local history and fed some delicious local food.
If you're in Hobart and want to see the city and surrounds in style, do yourself a favour and book sometime on board one of these amazing yachts.
The price is very reasonable as well. Thanks Mark and Baz, we will be back to take you up on your offer of the five-day charter!

Nice boat, Mark is an excellent host and very knowledgable about Hobart and the history of Tassie. I really enjoyed the cruise and would recommend it to anybody who loves the water and boats.

What a great trip to Port Davey in Helsinki 1V. It really is “Gods own country” rich in history and views to die for. Skipper Mark and his wonderful crew and friends treated us so well with good food, wine and cracking conversation. First Mate Pete is a Tasmanian legend whose knowledge and humour is unparalleled. Thank you all so much.

We were so lucky to decide to sail and explore around with the lovely crew of hobart yachts. We had a cool time, nice conversation and so many treats. I would definetly recommend this experience to anyone who likes to have unforgettable memories!

Had a fantastic afternoon with Mark and Jimmy. They took myself and my partner for a sail down the Derwent river. The managed to pack so much information, hands on experience, fabulous food and breath taking scenery into a 2 hour long trip. This was my first sailing experience and I am now hooked:) can’t wait to go on a longer chartered trip.
