Hobart Tower Motel reviews
53 Room clean with all the facilities you would expect (except an Iron). There was ample parking space, rooms cleaned regularly which was nice.
The “tower” has an okay view. Worth looking if you’re already here but wouldn’t give it much stock when deciding where you book.
Not much is super close on foot, but there are many options if you have a car.
You get what you pay for.
Not bad by any means, as the savings in accommodation allowed us to splurge in Hobart.
Old but clean. Shower hot. Basic supplies but no iron. Clean towels supplied. Great location. Super friendly staff. It’s a cheap motel, don’t expect much. But nothing really to fault for what we paid for.
Easy access to all areas nearby. Simple accomodation for your night stay. Basic amenities and basic facilities available. Serves decently well as a motel for crashing overnight.
Best accommodation we have had in the whole trip here. Book for room 9, beautiful bay window, comfy Ben big fridge, just amazing.
Basic room but have all you need, microwaves, kettle, soap and toiletries, some utensils, plenty of parking,
Bring your own toothpaste and brush, slippers.
A bit of old motel but still clean, the downside is still have very old style cold and hot tape for shower, which is difficult to adjust and take long time to get hot water.
Seemed fine for the price. Some light was on all night outside where I saw some coke machine and it came through the blinds. Didnt affect my sleep though The guy I talked to was friendly and the rooms were fine. Shower was older style hot/cold which was fine and they had renovated the shower itself recently.
Lovely room. Comfy beds, great location.
Parking was no hassle.
Rooms were clean and made up daily. Extra towels and pillows were supplied promptly when requested.
Only negatives were the hot water room forever to heat up and the water temp was difficult to control. The toilet roll holder was too far to reach from the toilet without stretching. The bedside lamps had also seen better days.
Conveniently located close to hobart cbd & only about 20 mins from the airport.room was clean & parking is free in the premises.
A very comfy experience. So clean and homely. Staff very nice and well mannered, very spacious and easy to access, parking and close to city. Very good for families and even couples it's good for also.
Recommended to come and enjoy a comfortable stay.
Reception ladies was amazing for late check in. Clean and comfortable room with a huge his and hers sink and bath you wouldnt expect in a motel. Definitely a great value for money.
Absolute shambles of a room, the odor throughout the room to the bathroom was like I was next door to a sewerage. Tv is mounted right in the corner where you will need to pull up a chair in front to watch something and the mini fridge goes off like a V8 at night while we are trying to sleep. Checked out early…
Stayed in a family room for two nights, the room is spacious for a family of four and its price. Room is clean. The lobby /reception area requires refurb, otherwise the experience was great.
The rooms were well equiped for a short stay! The price is amazing considering the amount of effort the staff put in to keeping their customers happy The staff cleaned our room for us when we were gone and supplied us with fresh towels, soap, toilet paper etc! The shower pressure was amazing and the bed was very comfy! Will definitely be coming back
Lovely staff, handy to city, very clean with lots of restaurants nearby who could ask for anything more
My partner has recently stayed at this motel whilst she was on work trip. She found bed bugs in her bed and experienced bites every single night.
The wifi quality is shocking, forget about trying to do video calling and streaming a movie concurrently.
Furthermore, she mentioned how some of the rooms seem to be used for illicit reasons. As she had a man come knocking at her door - seemingly with the wrong apartment number.
Overall, a very poorly maintained motel with a poor reputation, and men arriving for rather questionable reasons.
I would highly recommend avoiding this dreadful bedbug-ridden place.
Ok for an overnight stay. Did have 2 chairs and a table. But chairs are uncomfortable to sit and watch tv.
As a Hotel Supervisor myself, I’m quite disappointed in the cleanliness of the room I was in, I found left over icy poles in the freezer and lots of dust and ants on the bathroom floor, Doors are all filthy and black, window seals all mouldy, ceiling fans full of dust and cobwebs, dust on all the ledges, hair in the beds power points near double didn’t work, a little bit more attentiveness and these rooms would be absolutely amazing, reception people are no where to be seen so I couldn’t talk to anyone about the issues I was having. I refund would have been appreciated as it was definitely not a wonderful experience unfortunately
Exceeded our expectations! The staff is friendly and helpful; the rooms have decent heating and hot water (we were there in winter so it made a huge difference) ; and the location is pretty close to the city center. What's not to like?
3.5 stars, is cheap, clean and tidy and has all the basic appliances. The only downside is that it can be a bit too noisy and prone to headlights lighting up your room on the lower level, from the car park. Also there are no black out curtains.
Rooms are small. Can hear people above. Rooms clean. Bed is hard. I guess you get what you pay for. Won't stay here again.
