Hobart Showground

Given the huge amount of construction going on, it was a well run campground. Sites were clean and everyone well behaved. Great location.

I shopped at Spotlight and Bunnings.
Both stores had good customer service, a good variety of the items l required. Both stores are very competitive and have good prices.

A construction site. Noisy, smelly, and dusty. Bunnings forklifts reverse warning noise can be heard at all hours of the day and night

Hot showers, clean bathrooms, trash/recycling, online checkin easy. Worked great for us as a last minute. We did unpowered.

Slightly rundown and bare site, but good clean facilities and hot (paid) showers.decent value for money

Very central to Hobart and good amenities, though a bit of a walk depending on your site. Caretaker was very friendly and helpful.
The price gets you a good starting point for exploring the Hobart area but not any amazing views, we overlooked the large Bunnings warehouse next door

Good location is close to public transport such as busses every 10 minutes into the City of Hobart although I must say $40 per day is not cheap anymore

As a venue for events it is quite confusing. There should be a board showing events and a map of the area in accessible places; yet there is not. It seems there is always works on and the toilets are well outdated. There is never any advertisement for what occurs here. With time and new subdivisions the area keeps shrinking.

Great spot easy to access hobart town. A bit of a walk to the loo but they were clean we backed on to bunnings but the noise didnt worry us at all

Great place to stay in Hobart, has all required facilities on site, as good as you could expect from a Showground

Functional but soulless place for an overnight stop. Site 87 (unpowered) was quiet, being away from the highway and Bunnings.

Low cost, close-ish too Hobart city, and right on the main road, this campground is fine for what it is.
Unfortunately several of the toilets and both the showers in the nearest amenities block were out of service, and signs warned of water shortages.
On the bright side - fantastic views of kunanyi in the morning! And walking distance to My State Arena.

The place is run down and expensive. You overlook bunnings and anaconda. There is a nice view behind you of Mount Wellington and it is close by. It's very dusty. We found out it's all getting knocked down soon, but expensive for what you get.

Good spot close to bus for trio imto town water tap didnt find dump point hard to find and use but nice grass sights. They certainly could do a lot more for caravaners and most is low cost fixes.would happily stay again

I’ve done a lap of Australia and Tasmania and this is the worst campground I’ve ever seen by far. Dirtiest kitchen camp ever, the ground haven’t been done in years, not to mention the people staying there. You have to pay for a limited shower (pretty clean to be fair) on top of the night that is not cheap. Avoid at all costs.

Hobart Showgrounds Motorhomes, Caravans & Camping park is very large and caters for everyone. For my Coaster Bus it costs $25 for an unpowered site. There are plenty of Toilets & ($2 Token) Showers available. The nearest Bus Stop is only 3 minutes walk from the park. When checking in you’ll get a 4 page guide with all the necessary & tourists information

Great place to stay near cbd. Amenities were amazingly clean! Nothing to complain about, very reasonable and would highly recommend. We stayed for 3 nights.

Central, friendly staff.
Grounds are very neat and tidy. Walking distance to shops, pubs and Bunnings.
