Absolutely superb way of experiencing nature, the view of the city, the sheeps, chooks, wallabies, rabbits.wild and domesticated animals all living together in harmony. Breakfast wasn't provided supposedly but Tanya let us have some of her bread, milk and muesli just to complete the experience

An absolutely beautiful stay. Situated high above Kingston, Hobart Hideaway Pods has everything needed for couples to relax and enjoy the views and quite atmosphere. Each POD is self-contained and extremely comfortable. This week was the first time of many stays to come.

Such a beautiful and perfect place to seek for your inner peace. The wonderful scenery, the sound of the wildlife and the splendid sunrise waking you up in the morning are everything you can find here.

The host (Clare) is really friendly, the room is unique, clean and tidy. Located not too far from Hobart city. The compost toilet is also unique and it’s eco friendly. Such an amazing experience.

I highly recommend this place…

I had the pleasure of staying in the pea pod for two weeks earlier this year, and I could’ve easily doubled this time! The beautifully appointed pod, offered a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city - all while being only 20 minutes from Hobart. You feel away from everything - but everything is still accessible. The folding doors were amazing. Each day I would open these up and take in the view and enjoy the sounds of birdsong, and often watch llamas grazing in a neighbouring field. The pod itself is beautifully appointed with an extremely comfortable big bed and high-quality linens. The family who owns this property were exemplary hosts, who clearly care greatly about their guests. They did a perfect job at being friendly and thoughtful, while also offering a great deal of privacy. I plan on going back!

We had a wonderful stay. The pods are really cute, they have good facilities, and are clean and tidy! Clare was also exceptionally helpful - we left something behind and she was kind enough to post it the next day!
The view down over Kingston and the ocean is awesome - great to look at while sitting in bed with a cuppa! And the area is nice and quiet.
We used the pods as a base to explore the Huon Valley, Hobart and Bruny Island and it was perfect. We’d highly recommend! We’d certainly go back:)

My partner and I had a wonderful time at the peapod, you can see and feel the efforts Clare and her husband have put into the pods. We truly appreciate the tranquility of the location, the beautiful and eco friendly design and the convenience to drive to closest town Kingston. Will definitely stay here again and recommend the pods to our family and friends.

We only stayed one night at Hobart Hideaway Pods, and both the place and Clare made us truly gave us a dream home feeling. The whole place is run sustainably, and the decoration has a touch of love and care in it. The view and the air is definitely something you want to wake up to. Highly recommended.

Good location if you plan on visiting Mt. Wellington. The pods look even better than in pictures, one of the best places we stayed in Tasmania.

Had a lovely stay at the Vanilla Pod, which had amazing views and such a relaxing atmosphere. There was plenty of local wildlife, and even saw 3 echidnas down the road. Will definitely stay here next time we are back in town!
