Hobart Airport Tourist Park

Nice place. 7 min drive to secluded beach. Walkable distance to bp and subway.
Comfy stay. Cabins could do with more brighter furnishing.
Not great to do to much cooking in cabin.
Friendly staff. Debbie was very helpful with linens
Enjoyed the jumping pillow.

We had our van so booked a site. This park is very clean, tidy and well presented at all times. Credit to all involved.
Great facilities, play area for the kids, great camp kitchen.
Would totally recommend.

I can't thank the very friendly staff enough for our first experience with Big4. Everything we requested for three children under five during our stay was in place. Our Cabin was very clean, warm and inviting. The children's playground was a big plus, especially while waiting for transport to arrive. All round, we were very happy with our stay there, and will definitely be coming back again.

Excellent rooms. They have all you need great showers comfy beds and pillows and rooms are quite modern and spacious.highly recommend

The staff were friendly and happy to help. They were very accomodating when we wanted to upgrade our online booking to an ensuite powered site and then again when changing our second night to a cabin.

Staff friendly and welcoming, cabins and grounds clean, tidy and well presented.

Would recommend staying here and plan to return in the future.

Waiting 9 minutes to check in is fine but having a staff member contemplate if I can us the rest room is out of order had to drive 5 minutes down the road to use a public toilet seriously whatever happened to hospitality or just been a decent human.

Honestly this is your response to poor customer service. Fact is you never answered my question when I asking if I could use the rest room you just looked at me with them cold dead eyes and slowly walked away. I told you after you didn’t answer not to worry about my booking I’ll find another place to stay you said absolute nothing! Only Inconvenience was wasting my time booking and paying for a site in advance that I didn’t use due to poor customer service. Your response to this issue just shows the lack of care or interest to your guests take responsibility for you poor communication and cold attitude. Or perhaps your response and the way you treated me was based of my appearance! Never the less you still got what you wanted my money for the site. First day of my holidays first time customer wouldn’t recommend this place unless you arrive after hours and don’t have to deal with the short elderly lady with glasses who was behind the counter on the 19/01/2023 11: 30am

This is a review for the 2-bedroom cabin.

The BIG4 tourist park is by far my best stay experience in Tasmania. I booked 4 different places including Airbnb, normal b&b and normal hotel, and I really loved my experience at the BIG4 tourist park.

The 2-bedroom cabin comes with a bathroom and a small kitchen. The bathroom comes with toilet and shower, and basic soap / shampoo/ lotion. The kitchen comes with a fridge, microwave, stove, kettle, toaster, cups and dishes. Tea and coffee bags are also included.

The bedrooms are nice and clean with individual doors. Mattress is pretty nice & firm. There’s a small dining and living area too. The cabin is also nicely air-conditioned.

The price is on par with the other hotels but the place is much nicer. It’s nice and close to the airport for an early departure. Check in and check out instructions are easy to follow. I highly recommend this place to anyone travelling to Hobart.

Clean and tidy park and facilities. Near to airport if you are flying in. Great playground for the kids. Helpful staff, good communication. Would recommend.

3 nights in a cabin for 3 - 1 double and 2 singles. The 2 singles are in an L configuration which makes the room a bit cramped by the time you store bags as well. I would book bigger next time. Clean and tidy with friendly and helpful staff and a well equipped camp kitchen area. Spectacular sunsets some evenings and a short walk to Tasmanian Gourmet Seafood for dinner. We accidentally left 5kg of apples behind so I hope they were found and eaten.

It is cleaned good place, lots of facilities, clean bathrooms and showers, clean kitchen. It has powered and watered park. However, I think it is expensive, there is no space for privacy, there is not trees or garden inside the place. It is like a big parking lot.

Toilet is amazing. Good place to stay one day 1 or last day before returning of hired car or motorhome. Toilet floor is heated!

Staff were so helpful. We arrived late afternoon and we had no booking, the place was packed to the rafters. The staff reassured us they will find a spot for us and they did. We were even allowed late check out. As for the park itself it was very beautiful. Clean clean clean. Big4 are first on our preferences.

Good very clean facility. Very friendly staff. Despite being so close to the airport the cabins are well insulated and you hardly hear the planes.

Staff are friendly and to their credit the park is spotless. It's a great base to explore from I highly recommend to any one. Also has airport shuttle service.

Pristine showers and toilets. I saw the lovely hardworking cleaners 4 times in a one night stay. Good little kitchen area with outside bbq facility as well. Laundry clean and well maintained. Sites were small and close together, but very well maintained. Rubbish, dump point and clotheslines clearly marked on map given to me. Service was faultless, given that I left at 11.30am, not checkout time of 10am. Reception was extremely gracious regards this. Heard 1 plane, which was amazing considering they are right next to the airport. Great idea to leave excess food in the kitchen for other travellers. WiFi was strong enough and constant enough for ne to watch movies of my choice. Petrol station right next door. Highly recommend 11 out of 10

Close to the airport, we thought it would be noisy because of air traffic but it was very quiet n pleasant stay with clean rooms

Had a lovely spot for our caravan (away from the central hub). Kitchen and amenities always spotless and clean. Pity the "guests" treat these amenities with disrespect for the hardworking staff and other users (grubs who leave skidmarks, slop water, mud and TALC in the shower cubicle, no regard or courtesy for fellow travellers who have to use these amenities after them!) Thanks to the brilliant park staff for doing such a great job cleaning up after these tacky slobs!

The cleanest of clean spacious and well appointed chalets, friendly helpful staff, well located, would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay very close to the airport. Very clean cabins, super quiet, nice linen, well priced and easy after hours check-in.
