Hillside Bed & Breakfast Huon Valley Tasmania

Amazing stay. Easily the best stay we have had in Tasmania thus far, and incredibly kind and fun hosts. Beautiful gardens and room, nice and warm and even teas and port available. Breakfast was included in the gorgeous garden room - very aptly named for its stellar view. Very cozy and good food too (the chutney was amazing, Maria thank you)! Lots of options available and just a good all around time chatting to the awesome hosts and seeing the vistas. Thank you so much Maria and Wayne, I wish you both the very best in the future!

Hillside is a gorgeous B&B and Maria and Wayne are very welcoming, helpful and accommodating hosts. Our room was lovely with a great view from the terrace and the garden room and terrace which is also available to guests was an added bonus. Delicious breakfast and hosts who are keen to chat and be as helpful as possible, all combined to make our 3-night stay very enjoyable. Recommend.

Maria and Wayne were very welcoming and friendly. Accommodation is lovely and comfortable. View from room is stunning. This is the perfect place to relaxing or walk around the beautiful garden. Great location for exploring the area. Highly recommend.

While our stay was short at Hillside Bed & Breakfast it was certainly enjoyable. What a stunning property and amazing hosts. My partner and I had to leave very early the day of checkout so understood if breakfast couldn't be provided however they were more than happy to accommodate us and we were greeted with a beautiful breakfast and warm smiles. Thank you for your amazing hospitality. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here for 3 nights with our 11yr old son. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and professional. Staying here was like a breath of fresh air. We all felt as though we were able to completely relax and enjoy our surroundings. The room we stayed in was beautifully furnished, the view stunning and the gardens were simply gorgeous. Our breakfast was also delicious and plenty of it. This place is a gem and very well priced, especially compared to anything in Hobart. It was also an excellent place to base yourself if you wished to explore the area and there were many places to go out to eat for lunch/dinner as well. Would absolutely recommend to stay here, and hopefully we will be back ourselves next year.

What a fabulous ace to stay felt right at home. Bed was super comfy with the option for a firmer pillow. Jayne and Doug we amazing with their hospitality and breakfast options. Can’t wait to come back

We had such a wonderful stay at Hillside. The room was clean, warm and comfortable with the most beautiful view of the river. Doug and Jayne were the perfect hosts and we look forward to visiting again soon.

We stayed in the Terrace Room for two nights. Jayne and Doug were excellent hosts from the moment we pulled in. Doug came out to meet us, showed us our room and the breakfast/common room with the fire keeping it warm next door. We meet Jayne the next morning for breakfast where the ample food was delicious. I enjoyed the porridge both mornings along with muffins, pastries and fresh fruit salad. Finding the B&B was easy coming from Huonville, just a few minutes out of town, with a road sign informing us 200m ahead. Would definitely stay next time I'm in the Huon Valley.
