Highfield House

We ultimately in love with everything inside this house, giving us kind of historical and lovely ambience.
We should’ve stayed for more than 1 night, as we really love this house and wanna explore more.
Hopefully we can stay in this house for more than 1 night next time.

Really excellent accommodation in a beautiful house and Fergus is a superb host. Delicious breakfast, comfortable beds and a great place to stay for exploring.

Painful night

You can basically hear every step anyone takes in the entire house - if you have a rather light sleep, do not even consider this place. Further, there seems to be some music venue across the street, adding to the noise until late.

My room had a bad smell from the bathroom on top.

Yes, the place looks nice, but basics (privacy, rest) are just not provided very well.

Great accommodation, bed was terrific. Fergus was incredibly accommodating, and has an excellent voice, very crooning. Will recommend to anyone staying in Launceston.

Great place to stay. Close to everything you need in Launceston. Fergus is a great host and really looked after us.
Breakfast was delicious every day with plenty to choose from. Rooms were well presented and comfortable.
Would stay there again on our next visit.

Wonderful historic house in Launceston heights. Well appointed rooms, nice bathroom with huge 2 person shower and comfortable bed.
Great breakfast area with the choice of inside or out.
Pricing was good as well.
