Harvest Market reviews
55 The market was smaller than I expected.
I really wanted to visit this market, which is only held on Saturdays, so I made plans to go.
There were so many items I'd never seen before!
I couldn't resist buying a cute jar of honey.
I think this market is loved by the locals.
A vibrant location full of top tier, high quality produce and food vendors.
A wonderful cultural mix full of life and knowledge.
Could not recommend highly enough.
Great produce. Very popular with the locals. You can find cheese, oysters, bread, fruits and veggies.
Don't eat breakfast before coming here! So much delicious multicultural food, burgers, coffee, etc. You'll want to try everything.
Love this market! There’s always great entertainment and high quality fresh local produce. Every Saturday morning centrally located.
Great place for fresh Tasmanian produce/products.early morning breakfast or brunch & so much to eat, tray and take home!
there are some 40 producers at each market.
The organisers of this vibrant harvest are as discerning about taste as are the producers - the standards are high; the seasons rule what is for sale.
The Harvest Launceston Community Farmers' Market is held every Saturday from 8.30am to 12.30pm at the Cimitiere St car park in Launceston - opposite City Park and the Grand Chancellor Hotel.
The market sells only food and beverages grown and produced in Tasmania and is run within Australian Farmers' Market Association Guidelines
This is always a great community gathering. People, produce, music 10/10. Thanks to the volunteers who make this all possible
First place we visited in Launceston! Quite fun, good coffee and the chorizo sandwich we had was incredible! Too bad we couldn't bring any of the produce back home, everything looked fantastic.
Love supporting local farmers. Quality of products is exceptional. Live music adds to the vibrant feel of the market. So much local talent to celebrate.
Beautiful fresh, seasonal fruit and vege including organic producers. Meat, seafood, baked goods, coffee stalls (at least 3), cheese and milk, flowers and plants, and lots of ready to eat food including delicious Afghan fried and filled flat bread. Well spaced stalls so it does not feel crowded; you can get about easily. A lot of the stalls have EFTPOS facilities. Note, parking nearby was cash only (mostly).
Great market for freshest of fresh fruit and vegetables and all sorts of jams chutneys syrups FANTASTIC
Lovely, little farmers market! We bought a selection of delicious things. Particularly recommend the mushrooms from the mushroom specialist - great to try some more specialist mushrooms in our risotto - they were delicious.
Not as many stalls as we'd expected, but worth a visit.we loved the Bruny Island oyster stall - friendly staff doing a roaring business, and super fresh oysters.worth a visit if you're in the area
Fresh produce, including wine tasting, wholesome food to eat as you wander, quirky goods. Suprisingly big. Really worth a visit
Excellent variety of seasonal produce and so fresh! I highly recommend. They also have prepared food available to eat while you wander.
I love this small market in Launceston.
You can find plants, flowers, honey, spices, olive oil, cheese, bread, coffee and the best chorizo and 3 cheeses sandwich!
Cute little market in the middle of Lancester. The prices are quite expensive comparatively to other Australian cities but it's probably not too bad for locals (like two tiny jars of honey for $22). We had coffee and food. My partner really liked Afghan table with bolani which I personally can't stand because of coriander. So if you like it - the snack is worth a try.
Local farm product market. A small variety of good breakfast with public seat available for eating of enjoying the band.
Awesome place. Stumbled upon after picking up our car. Great coffee and lots of varieties of food and fresh produce. Would definitely go back again!
Really enjoyed walking around and looking at the wonderful assortment on offer. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with music for those who enjoy sitting and toe tapping. We'll worth the visit and would go again.
