Harley Iron Horse Bar & Grill

Rather disappointed with our recent visit.
Took my son out for a meal for his birthday only to wait almost 1 and a 1/2 hours for our food. Then when our food arrived, our steaks were almost cold and poorly cooked, chips were totally dehydrated and inedible, and our salads were warm.
Steaks were almost like they had been cooked in a sandwich press and not cooked over a chargrill fire.
We did bring it to the staffs attention but they did nothing.
I swear we had been forgotten about as we noticed 2 male cook staff had come out to the bar and had started drinking.
I ended up bringing the inedible steak we couldn't eat home and gave it to my dog.

Toasted sandwich was tasty and with yummy chips a bonus. Cappuccino was ok, bit on the cold side and froth had flattened, must of sat somewhere for a while. This was pointed out by the waitress, but still served to me. Pot of tea cup was stained, isn't hard to remove if noticed by staff. Large TV was great to watch some Olympics.

Friendly service. Food was good. Not just for Harley fans. Had the nachos and my partner had the smaller lunch schnitzel which was plenty big enough.

Great atmosphere, great service, onion rings were awesome but the ribs were a bit chewy, that's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars

Drunk people danced right at our table while still eating! Forgot our entree. Steak tough as! Waited ages for drinks in the end we walked out!

Meals are good when you get them, slow to get out, bar service not much different, staff are ok, but seem understaffed.

Porterhouse steaks are better than black cows. The steak was charred and cooked over a real fire. The pepper steak sauce was insane. Salad was perfect ; service at the desks were brilliant! Couldn't be happier. Fast service also. Didn't wait more than 30 minutes for my meal. And my 5 friends got theirs at the same time. (try the chicken) it was actually perfectly cooked. Service/food was 5/5. Been to 95% of restaurants in Launceston too

I had the cheeseburger parmy, $19 with a beer on Tuesdays. Was ok, chicken slightly underdone. Cool venue with good atmosphere, I'd probably return.

After a recommendation from an 80 year old relation we thought we would give it a go. As we walked in the sign that clearly said live music on Saturday. No live music. The music that was there was way too load so much that conversation was missed from our small party of three. It took 1.5 hours for our main meals of a Parmigiana, a burger with fries and a warm Thai salad which was more like stir fry. However the Cobb loaf starter and chowder were above average.

Very pleasant, good flavour. Nice staff. Need more salt shakers about the place not an issue really. Will go again.

Good sized tasty meals. Band a little loud but you can have a table away from them if you request one.

Chicken Park large portion, good flavour, was visibly burnt but didn't affect flavour negatively.

I have waited for 2 hours for a dish of scallops and I still haven't got them. I certainly won't be back. The girls at the front were most apologetic but I still haven't got my food. Pity you can't give less than one star.

Just had lunch. Very small menu but adequate. Nice meal, very friendly service staff. I expect the evening meals to be of a good standard.

Really friendly staff. Food was fantastic and a casual, relaxed atmosphere. We all had a great lunch.

Have been here plenty of times with adults amd kids. Always great service and happy staff. Brilliant atmosphere and have not had a bad meal yet. Highly recommended.

Took the wife out for a quick lunch. What a surprise! Great food (we both had chicken schnitzels and chips). This would have to be one of the best one we have had. Price was very good and the schnitzels were fresh and one would think home made. Better than some of the rubbish that you would get from your local pub. Pass it on! Great place and we will be back, soon!
OH and the bikes are pretty good as well.

Quiet disappointed in our meal tonight. I had the squid. It was dry and looked more like onion rings. My husband and several others had the steak and they all said it was very chewy. (Unusual for scotch). Others on the table had the very over cooked schnitzels. I have never had a bad meal before and will continue to eat there but gee I hope I'm not disappointed next time.

This is a great surprise, not what I expected bit WOW, loved it.
Food is excellent service was outstanding make a date to go you won't regret it
