Guide Falls Farm reviews
15Fantastic place for kids. Great food, great staff! Really made for a fun morning metting all the animals.
Very run down area where the animals were. Has potential but overpriced for what was there.
The company was good and the music, but I have to say the staff were ill prepared. Things stated on the flyer for the event just weren't there. The food was of average quality and little of it for the price you paid. Eight fire pots for 400 expected people, doesn't sound good does it. Our previous trip there was better prepared. Sorry guys, I thought they would learn from previous events
We had the pleasure of going to a birthday party yesterday, we had an amazing time seeing all the animals, my youngest loved the horse, my girls loved all the animals especially the baby bunnies. Kids loved playing in the play area. Meals for the party were amazing the highlight was the mini cheese burgers and those Sweet Potato fries omg they was delicious.
This is a great venue for the whole family, the food is bang on everytime, esp there desert's.
The food at Guide Falls Farm restaurant takes you back to a time when everything on your plate was quality & fresh. The Pork Belly was sublime; tender & juicy & bursting with flavour. The vegetables are picked by the chef from the farm's garden & the selection of salads complimented the pork perfectly. And between you & I; the walnut salad is a real treat. The meals were nicely presented, the atmosphere was relaxed & the service was friendly with everything arriving in a timely manner. It's the perfect place to take the whole family since there is a safe outdoor area for the kids to play while the adults enjoy great food, good company & a braod selection of wines & beers. If you haven't already been there, make it your next dining experience. You won't regret it.
Had lunch here today (4 adults) and all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The salads were fresh and bursting with flavour. Good coffee and delicious-looking cakes and desserts (though I was too full to try one - next time!). The staff were friendly and attentive. I'd definitely return - bonus, being just up the road from Guide Falls that were also an unexpected delight.
I had a great meal hear. I was dragged along to a huge feast, loved the food and the new people I met.
Rachel and Matt have done an incredible job turning their working farm into a dinning delight for all. I was blown away by the food, it just did not stop coming! Full of flavour, thoughtful and fresh. All dietaries were well catered for and I particularly enjoyed the brisket croquette. 10/10 yummy!
We were fortunate to hold our gathering for 30 at Guide Falls Farms gorgeous new restaurant Grazings on Thursday evening. Chef provided an amazing array of dishes to cater for our hungry carnivores, vegans and vegetarians. The food and the venue are both outstanding and I can certainly recommend this venue. It was bliss!
A great spot! We went with a bunch of kids (age 0,1,4,6) plus grandparents. Everyone had a very tasty option for lunch (we brought food along for the babies 0,1). The kids also had a blast visiting all the animals on the farm. 5 stars!
Absolutely amazing spot! The food was fresh with so much flavour, the chef truly fantastic. Service is without a doubt like no other.
Thank you so much Rachel, you have both created such a wonderful place. We truly wish you both all the success and we'll look forward to booking again.
The food was absolutely amazing. I had the GFF bbq meat which was massive and delish. The sides was a mouthful of flavours which went well with the meat. The farm cafe area is very nicely set up with a farm viewing area out back. Along with bunnies patting and feeding area.
This is the third time we have been hear and the food is outstanding. Food is truly paddock to plate.
Have watched this place grow over the years. The owners have worked so hard to make a wonderful venue just 10 minutes from Burnie.
Firstly a animal farm to visit, now a restaurant and venue to hire for functions.
The menu had a variety to suit most tastes, prices were reasonable, plate size very good. We went for our first time to the restaurant (have visited the farm at least 8 times) yesterday for fathers day, even though the place was really busy, the staff were relaxed and helpful with a smile. We found the menu even catered for the "rascals" $15 for a burger, fries, spreyton juice and icecream, with an enclosed playground to entertain, is what our had.
Our meals were great and very tasty.
It is an all accessible place with flat paths, and toilet facilities.
Also sell the fresh farm produce and mests to the public.
