Gray Line Tasmania Day Tours

Did the Salamanca market/Port Arthur tour. Great option to have and explore the market in the morning - highly recommend. The coach bus was comfortable and driver very nice, however it wasn’t a guided tour and more of a drop off and meet by the bus at the end of the day.

There were tours you can go on provided by the visitor center which were great I just didn’t know this going in. I’d recommend it if you want to get both things in a day however if you’re looking for a more guided tour look at another company.

Excellent tour of Mt Wellington, Richmond and surrounds.

What a fantastic tour group. Was given poor arrival time by my booking agent but tour guide gave me a courtesy call early to see how I was going luck we were only 2 mins away. Colin our guide and bus driver yook us around Hobart and to the top of Mt Wellington he was extremely knowledgeable, passionate and very funny (awesome dad jokes) got a lot more than expected from the tour before dropping us off at the warf for the Mona meusem tour, extremely good value for money highly recommended

The weather didn't play its part but the tour guide was great with his local knowledge.

Had a great day out on the Port Arthur Grand tour. Jim our guide was great, so much knowledge, great sense of humour. Very well organised, great bus, great service.

Loved our tour to Mt. Wellington and the tour guide.
However, the lady who did the booking at the pier overbooked the bus, didn't give information as to where the tour started (which resulted in a 25 min delay on a 2 hr tour), and then got on the bus and shouted at passengers to get off fast because the next tour was getting late, which was very unpleasant.

Absolutely amazing tour. Colin was so informative & had us intrigued, laughing & learning the entire way. Thank you for a smooth, joyous tour. Colin you are the best tour guide I've ever had the experience of sharing a day with.

We recently spent the day on a trip to Port Arthur with tour guide Tim who provided a very informative and entertaining commentary.
Tim’s ability to relay historical data (in an ‘easy to listen to’ manner) allowed him to share his vast knowledge in a way that held everyone’s interest throughout the whole day. Thanks Tim a wonderful day was had by all 14 clients

We have just completed three night tour to Queenstown and Strahan, very well organised. We had a great driver Philip, couldn’t do enough to assist, very pleasant and very good driver. Only fault his terrible jokes, very funny guy. Thanks heaps.

Did the Port Arthur tour with Phil on the Mon and the Grand Hobart with Jim on the Tues. Both drivers were very friendly and gave clear directions of when they will be leaving or when stopping for a break gave good tips for where to get a bite to eat. I was able to be dropped me off out front of hotel.and the pick up spot was around the corner so not too far as i have a mobility issue. Would use Grayline again when i come back for another holiday.

When booking a tour if you end up with a guy named Phil, he is great. The service is awesome. Very knowlagable and friendly, with a couple of dad jokes thrown in for free

Experienced driver and well maintained bus. Could not only point out the highlights of the trip to the Huon Vally & Port Arthur but also fill us in on some of the stories about the area.

Tour driver/host was brilliant, knowledgeable, funny and helpful. If you don't want to drive yourself this tour was well worth it

Perfect for small tour groups! Our tour guide was awesome and even took us to an extra spot that wasn't originally in the itinerary.

We had Neil for our two tours. We were very happy with his knowledge, humour and desire to go the extra mile. We will be returning to experience all of their hobart tours.
