Granada Tavern reviews
75Went to the granada for a meal on10/12/23 after it was recommended by a friend, we ordered a seniors meal of roast turkey and rissoles onion gravy and potatoes, both meals were of excellent quality and quantity. The service was good and the barmaid could not do enough for us, we will be back again.
The Roast pork was ok but I wouldn't highly recommend it. The food wasnt hot enough. The sticky date was excellent.
Called into the Grenada Tavern bistro to catch up with and have a feed with my son. Very busy, but enough extremely friendly staff to deal with it. The food was very reasonably priced, with a $12 & $15 menu, and a good variety to choose from. The food was delivered in good time and was delicious. My only beef is that on a cold evening as it was, the main doors into the venue, being large automated sliders, allowed a lot of cold air each time they opened.
They appear to have nightly competitions to keep the punters coming and entertained. Lots of parking.
Can't speak for the rest of the venue, but the bistro is definitely worth a visit for a cheap but tasty feed and an entertaining atmosphere.
Meal, drinks and staff were quite nice. Now you can order and pay via your phone right at the table.
Good value seniors meal
I also enjoyed the chicken salad
As visitors to Tasmania was good to find somewhere like this to eat
Thank you
Large gathering booked in for lunch (14 adults, 7 children). Waited over an hour for meals. The kids meals were obviously cooked earlier, the mini burger was shrunken and dry, the steaks were overcooked and dry. Seniors meals were confused with “main meals”. Not a good experience unfortunately, especially for the kiddies.
I had a fantastic steak, medium was cooked to perfection and the creamy garlic prawns as a top would have been just as nice as the other main I was considering, it was a generous serve with a nice side of salad & chips, very yummy
I took my group of about 20 elderly and disabled clients here the other day. The venue we had planned on going to cancelled so we decided to go to the Grenada instead. This isn’t the first time this has happened, and this has become our go-to contingency plan when we need somewhere for lunch.
This venue has always left us happy. They handle the size of our group really well, which is important. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The food has always been excellent. The prices are very reasonable and we appreciate the senior’s menu. Mostly it’s their ability to accommodate us at such short notice that has always impressed me. All of my clients have been very happy with their meals and the service with no complaints, which is great for my business too.
Thank you!
Friendly pub serving food and cold beers. Perfectly located for refreshments before/after visiting MONA.
Slow I was pretty much the first person to order a meal bout of 20 of us and got served last actually had to ask were my meal was
Seniors meal was enjoyed by myself and a dear family member. Top notch customer service, a really friendly atmosphere with lots of space. I will be back soon.
Very average food, presentation 1 star
Pub meal for restaurant prices
Wouldn't recommend

Please fix your
Foxtel TVs
So that people can watch the Jackjumpers live
We took my mum out for lunch at the Granada the Staff were very welcoming and quick with their service. The meals were great and only $9.95 with a seniors card. Three good meals for under $30 where else could you get that! Will definitely be going back. Well done Granada Tavern.
Good value Senior's meal. Polite staff and efficient service. Also outside play area for kids.
Arrived Sunday morning to find dining area deserted. Even though we had booked a table in front of the big screen to watch the world title fight there was no table reserved. Eventually found a very disinterested staff member in of course the gaming room. We ordered 3 coffees and asked him if he could turn on the fight. He smiled and said that they weren't going to show the fight. I said that my two mates in wheelchairs had booked and had been confirmed to them that the Granada were showing it. He called his manager who said they were not showing it. He then gave us our coffees which were not even warm. Never again. Also after posting this review I have been contacted by then thanking me for signing up to hear more from them. No thanks.
Just had a response from the Granada manager. No offer to make things right no system to train staff. So good luck punters. We recommended this pub to many others but I am not doing that anymore.
Ps getting two young men in wheelchairs to a venue is not easy. And your on site manager didn't care at all.
Also no one could explain how when we had booked a table there was no table reserved for us.
Also the manager didn't even spell check her response before posting it. Maybe the inattention to detail starts from the top at the Granada.
.
Gr8 experience
Even though they were busy the staff handled the crowd well.
Holly hats off to you lovely
Great family meal. Price excellent. Friendly staff. Came down from MONA to escape the over-priced wanky food that the kids wouldn't have eaten.
Great service by the floor staff, good food and reasonable prices. Dining area is huge and also has a stage for live shows. Senior's specials are fantastic, $9.95 for a main and $2.50 for the dessert of the day. Picture is of the senior's roast of the day!
I’m giving it 4 stars because of there $7 buy one meal get the next for $7 so basically you are paying for two $28 meals for $35 & it’s really kid friendly with a park you can keep a good watch from your table. Toy machines & don’t forget the good o’l Tas Keno.
