Read someone else's review which was negative and i almost went elsewhere. Glad i didnt. That's how fried rice is supposed to be. It actually was special. Also, the honey chicken was very nice, but what a huge serve. Oh, and the nicest service ever. I thought it was a bit expensive whem i ordered, but when it arrived, it was enough food for 2, maybe 3 people. VERY generous. Thanks!

Oh dear where do you start, I've never done a bad review for a restaurant but seriously this was the worst Chinese food I've ever had we left most of the food on the plate. The chicken wing's and spring rolls were so tough with thick batter was difficult to digest and the main meal of beef
and black bean sauce had very little taste and the honey chicken was quite bitter. Hopefully it was just a bad night for them but certainly can't recommend this one but the beers cold and the young lady was polite.

Reminds me of Chinese restaurants in the 70’s. Not only is it expensive, the menu is limited and it’s the worst meal I’ve had in years. Don’t waste your money or time here.

Limited no fuss menu, clearly passionate about the restaurant but this did not translate to the food. The meals were average at best, the fried chicken was over cooked and stale, rice was undercooked. Lacked professionalism.

Delicious Chinese cuisine, ranging from traditional Aussie takeaway Chinese to authentic Chinese recipes which remind me of my time in China. The owners are long standing pillars of Launceston who blend their Chinese and Australian cultures easily. They are friends to everyone.

Food was lovely and staff super friendly. Rice was light a fluffy beef in black bean was very tender. Crispy things were super crispy and not too oily. Highly recommend. My 3 year old also loved it also.
