Owners are very friendly and accommodating!

Had one night (powered site) stay here and it was lovely. You get to see peacocks, ducks, chickens and Sheeps around.

Quiet town, petrol station is nearby and there is a snack bar that serves good food as well.

Wonderful 200 year old farmhouse surrounded by beautifully kept gardens. There are also several pheasants and ducks strutting their stuff and showing off their colourful tails. Scrumptious Devonshire teas with the best home made jam.

The owner of the estate is really lovely and the whole area is relaxing with comptable bed and fresh fruit brekky.

The Glen Derwent Tea Rooms are so scenic and picturesque, the food is always delicious and the owners are just fantastic!

This is a review for the accommodation, not the tea house. Liz was extemely welcoming, thoughtful, and the house, grounds and room were beautiful. I wish I had found this place earlier on my trip around Tasmania. I will come back either to stay or for the high tea.

A beautiful place to visit! I've been to two weddings there now and the hosts were amazing. I highly recommend visiting Glen Derwent.

My partner and I stayed at Glen Derwent for two nights for our wedding. We fell in love with the old beauty and style of the building and it's cottages (and it was a bonus that it was right near our wedding venue too). Our experience was nothing short of perfect with an efficient check in, our own space to move around and utilise the big kitchen whenever we pleased. I had forgotten about the animals on the property and if I am honest it was really calming at a time where an impending wedding can cause anxiety! My (now) husband and I stayed in the Masters stables which was beautiful and intimately tucked away. And best of all was how helpful and responsive Liz was.especially when I accidentally took the stables keys into Hobart CBD leaving my groom with no way to access our room to start getting ready. Thank you for rescuing him and thank you so much for everything!

Recently stayed here for my sister and brother in law's wedding. What a beautiful location and my kids loved the animals and were excited to see all the little lambs. The self contained cottages were perfect, they were clean and comfortable. Would happily stay here again. Thank you for making it such an easy, stress free experience for my family.

Liz and Ruth blew us away with their quality creation and presentation of a High Tea for Sugar Free me and a Gluten Free friend. Their selection was so yummy and satisfying. And to enjoy it on a blustery winters day with a hot cuppa by a wood heater. #PerfectGirlsDayOut

Great atmosphere during Dark Derwent. A cold night warmed by spit roasted lamb and 11th Order Ghostly Pale Ale

Went to check out the place for an event later in the year. Lovely friendly owners, peaceful gardens, rustic rooms. Great place.

Beautiful Place, however the owners were still there and floating around which made for a slightly awkward atmosphere. Beautiful Place for events, as long as they're wrapping up before midnight.
