Geographe Restaurant and Espresso Bar reviews
56We had a lovely early dinner here overlooking the amazing rocky peaks of Coles Bay and Freycinet Peninsula. Service was great and the food was excellent. They are Licence and have a good selection of beer and wine. A good stop in your area looking for a nice feed in a town with not a lot of options.
Food was nice and fresh and price was fair. Staff were friendly and helpful. In a great spot with amazing views of Freycinet. Would come back next time.
A wonderful start to a birthday celebration in Coles Bay beautiful "hash daddy" Benedict in a perfect setting thanks to Gil and his team
Kindness is the best
food is the best
Pizza is also good here
Pasta is also very tasty.
A little disappointing to be honnest. First I wanted to order the soup of the day, which was displayed handwritten on the counter. They told me I couldn’t order that yet and the sign shouldn’t have been up. So I ordered the smashed avo, with hard boiled/no runny eggs. They were still super runny, what for me ruined the dish. I also ordered a cappuccino with extra shot. (I don’t think I mentioned the size). I got a large one but it was super milky and did not taste like it had an extra shot. When I asked for an extra espresso for in my Coffie later on I did get it free of charge which was nice.
This place has it all good food, friendly service and what about those views. Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner
Overall pretty decent, with some hits and misses. In decreasing order of success:
Oysters: delicious (5/5)
Breakfast burger: delicious
Chicken burger: solid (4/5)
Pork pizza: solid
Veggie bowl: solid
Cheesecake: ok (3/5)
Asian squid: ok
Veggie pizza: mediocre (2/5)
Seafood pasta: mediocre
Beef burger: pretty bad and way overpriced (1/5)
The food was surprisingly good! Had the nachos and chicken wings which I loved. Great place to visit when going to wine glass bay region
Well worth the little bit extra cost. Very enjoyable beer-battered fish and chips, we both had this. The two pieces of fish were white and juicy. The batter was nicely cooked and crisp. The chips were hot, crispy, and freshly cooked. The included mixed salad was nicely dressed. All in all, it was a nice experience. Will be back.
Came for some brunch, the Breakfast burger with haloumi, hashbrown and egg was delicious, as were the salsa eggs. Coffee to top it off was nice and strong! Very impressed.
Had a lovely table outside and enjoyed an amazing seafood linguine, so fresh and delicious. Great atmosphere and staff, a young man with an accent was incredibly nice. Really really good food. Linguine was 10/10, partner ordered the fried chicken burger rated 9/10
Crazy how good our pizza was️could have had another, but as we polished of a bottle of red wine and Expresso Martini after we thought not. OMG the Expresso was one of the best I've had. Full flavoured. Great service from the crew there too. We actually went back for breakfast the next day also to see if it would be as good as dinner. Yep, sure was. Coffee hit the spot and we were back on our bikepacking adventure ️ We will be back!
Had a lovely and tasty dinner here. Food was great, generous portions. The jalapeño margarita was particularly good! The waitress was also excellent. She was running all of the front of house side by herself with a fast-filling restaurant and didn’t break a sweat or miss a beat! Great experience all round. Would recommend booking a table if you plan to dine here.
Delightful. Great service, great food and great coffee. Honestly, could you ask for more? Well, I am glad you did ask for more because you are also treated to a wonderful view of the hazards. Thank you.
One word, Heavenly! I’d go as far as saying make a trip to this café so you can try out the Orange Almond or the scrumptious and generous breakfast. But if you ever need a reason to come here is Mark, he is a mate of mates, a joyful welcoming host. Love the atmosphere, location and Oh! The food! Yummmm!
Not many options here. But this crew seem interested and have something for most people. Worth a stop.
Delicious gluten free food. Great coffee. Staff are very hospitable. Recommend the deck as the views are stunning whilst enjoying your coffee/food
Great little restaurant. We had such an amazing experience. Yummy homemade pizzas. Service was great, thanks to the beautiful Nepalese waitress. We'll come back
Not sure about the rest of the menu but the Little Porker pizza and Southern fried chicken burger were probably the best we've ever had.
Chips were perfectly crunchy and burger super juicy with heaps flavour.
There was heaps of pork belly and crackling on the pizza and the flavours were on point. Can I have a second pizza now?
Stopped in here for a sneaky coffee and cake snack! Staff were very friendly and service was fast. Muffins and GF brownie were delicious! Coffee was great to. All served with a stunning view of the Hazards. Would definitely come back.
