Great museum collection of West Coast history. Walk down the native tree walk includes Huon Pine, Myrtle, King Billy Pine. Across the Road is the Original Evans store which has antiques and memorabilia from past years. Enhances a wonderful walk around gistoeuc Queenstowns streets. Very enjoyable

Eclectic museum. A must to pop in and see if passing through.
The pianola evoked memories of my childhood.

Looks more like a cramped up antique store.
Part of things on display were creepy.
Some people seemed to like it though.

A fantastic museum, which will give you a comprehensive history of the town. The entry price is very reasonable. Allow yourself at least a couple of hours to see everything.

Someone recommended this place to me so i saved it in my phone and made sure to go by when we were in queenstown.it’s HUGE and the entry fee per person is $8 i think it’s a great price considering how many things there are inside.there’s 19 rooms just upstairs alone.downstairs there’s more to explore as well.a pool table that you can play and one of my favorites was the movie room that played really nice and well done films about the west coast of Tas.def would come back!

What a place, so many displays and details. I was there by myself and I must admit I found it a little overwhelming, all that history all those lives lived. Worth a visit.

Local museums aren't really my thing but it was recommended to us. There is a lot packed into the building. Lots of rooms full of memories. Helpful staff.

The Eric Thomas Galley Museum is a fantastic museum to visit. There is a huge amount of history and information.
We went here with our children who loved it, they had a great time learning about the West Coasts wild and rugged history.

Chock a block full of interesting old photos, artefacts, furniture, models. Worth it just for the old fashioned feeling you get walking around the numerous dismay rooms.
