Galleria Salamanca reviews
12Great location, super convenient, easy check in. Front door can be hard to open after hours.
Salamanca is absolutely fabulous! The accommodation is absolutely stunning with beautiful views of the harbour. It’s across the road from the glorious park. The sandstone buildings all the way down the road make for a very special heritage feel. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. The communication was excellent telling us exactly where to find our key. Oh and the famous markets are right out the front until 3pm on a Saturday. There are many restaurants, cafes and bars both down the way and surrounds and the double glazed windows keep all noise out so it makes for a very pleasant sleep
Great hotel, comfy bed, nice and quiet in a great location. Friendly and kind staff/management.
We were incredibly impressed with the overall stay considering the location. We were apprehensive about staying so central but it was perfect. We felt secure, comfortable and didn’t hear a peep from outside! We stayed in a room with only a skylight and I think that helped with any noise pollution but the room had everything we needed and I don’t think we could’ve found this value elsewhere. It was a very independent stay but Marianne was super responsive to any messages sent with questions.
Great customer service. Lovely clean rooms very comfortable bed. Ideal location above Salamanca market area and close to CBD. Eateries etc. Room very small
This was my second visit to Galleria Salamanca, unfortunately it was nothing like the first time. Location great. No service is provided, ie clean linen or bins emptied. No face to face interaction with owners. Missing Carl and Donna.
Reception lady was helpful to the point of being like a sister or mum.
We stayed in room 4 that had a slight view of the market and the park. The room is about medium sized, very clean. Small fridge, aircon, tv, the usual amenities. Toilets are as clean as you can get them to be. Hot shower, very clean as well.
Bed was comfortable and the pillows and and linen had that crisp sterilized but fragrant feel to them.
Smack in the middle of night life but surprisingly was peacefull for a friday night even though the party people where in the streets below. I suppose the double window panels keep it comfortably quiet.
Carpets are thick to walk on and clean to touch.
At 530 am we could start to hear the Saturday markets people start to setup. Was not noisy but you could her them. As we chose this place so we could experience the Salamanca Markets and this place is literally walk in and walk out of this event as the front door of the hotel opens into the market scene, then the slight sounds of these stall holders was a gentle wake up call.
Restos and foody type premises everywhere from cheap quickies to fine dinning.
Very safe, very clean, close to action.
Definitely a place to stay.
Our host, Carl was excellent in providing customer service. Convenient and beautiful place to stay where all the best restaurant and pubs we’ll definitely come back again!
Excellent hospitality, very clean and well sized rooms.
Hosts were very accommodating. Thank you!
Awesome location in the heart of Salamanca - bars, food, ambience - owner Carl so personable and friendly, everything you need in large contemporary light filled rooms Thankyou
Excellent location, really comfy bed, full black our shutters on the window all lead to a great sleep. Thanks Carl for a great visit.
We stayed here for 3 nights, our room was big enough with 2 kids, fantastic location with plenty of options
for food. Thank you Carl and Donna we had a lovely stay.
