27 Great food, staff friendly, food portions generous.
Dinning area opened at 1730 for dinner and we arrived shortly after that. We ordered at about 1750 and the place was starting get a bit busy (Monday night) our food came out very promptly and was hot. I was very impressed with the food, our table got potato skins, prawns, burger and mixed grill. Everything we had was cooked perfectly and I passed on my compliments to the chef.
I have been there many times for meals; the level of service is good, and what you would expect. I have enjoyed the food there every time, and I have not been disappointed. If you want a good meal, try here.
Food was fresh, fast and delicious. Very friendly staff, very enjoyable. I will definitely go again!
I had a beautiful roast pork yesterday. The service and food fantastic. Great value for seniors $19.50 including a glass of wine.
I will be back next week.
Scollops were like the size of my thumb nail they were Tasmanian scollops I don't believe they were Tassie scollops service was good though but won't be back again
Absolutely delicious! And they gave us free drinks because we are seniors lol roast lamb chicken parma and stuffed breast yum yum
Went in for a takeaway meal, beautiful food, chefs did a brilliant job, lovely friendly staff, nice atmosphere
Red-headed bar wrench has horrible customer service and is a bit of a cow to everyone. Think it's the owner. She shouldn't be there.
Fantastic service and the meals were some of the best hotel food we have had in quire a while. The scotch fillet was melt in the mouth and the roast was so tender. We will be back next time we visit Ulverstone.
Avoid like the plague, terrible service the food was expensive steak was cooked wrong, they served the wrong meal, service girl seemed like she would rather be somewhere else……ordinary at best way better places in Tassie to eat….

We made it for lunch on a Sunday with 4 minutes to spare before the kitchen closed.
Glad we did, as the flathead, chips and salad was delicious.
The batter was so crisp, and never went soggy like some do.
Excellent value for money, and friendly staff.
Only commercial beers available; nothing interesting.
Coke from the tap was flat, so the staff swapped for a can.
Great food, great service. They need to have signs outside to let people know that they are open.my husband had to walk in a nd ask. 9/10
I had a "Light Lunch" however I don't call 6 Crumbed Scallops & a plate of chips for $20 value for money.
Entree serverd with main meal, by the time that was done chips were cold. Without a doubt worst part was the chips were UNDERNEATH the snizel?
Enjoyed a wonderful Mothers Day lunch, large meals, very well cooked & presented. Would definitely return for another meal.
Brilliant service and excellent food the chef cooked a steak for me on Saturday night he wasn't happy with it so he cooked another one for me and also gave us a free garlic bread for being delayed while he cooked another steak
