Food was great but served without a smile. We know there are staff shortages everywhere but if you are open for business then you need to project a positive outlook. It is hard to give positive feedback when you are not made to feel welcome as a guest.

The scallops were small but fresh and the batter was amazing. Would be amazing if the tartar sauce was home made.

Great little Tavern on Flinders Island. The staff are friendly, the beer is on tap and the Chicken Parmy is EPIC!

The place has a nice view and the staff are friendly. As one of the few restaurants on the island, booking is a must, but the staff are very accommodating. I had the crumbed scallops and they were fresh and nice along with the potato salad.

Recommended by our air BnB owner however we were very disappointed. Forgot one of our groups meals and when another in our group commented that the food was not very nice the staff member told us she didn’t really care.
I guess they have no competition as there is really no where else to eat out in Lady Barron but disappointed by that response. 2 stars - one for the beautiful views and one because my meal was ok but overall a disappointing experience.

Stayed in modern comfortable unit. Food service was a bit haphazard. Small pizzas ordered early evening appeared very late. Local fish. Barramundi! Ha ha.

Seafood chowder was delicious We were a bit disappointed with the nachos, (very tasty guacamole though) and underwhelmed with the arancini balls

Outstanding seasonal menu. The prawn dumplings and sashimi were delicious. Menu also features local produce incl mutton bird. Couple with friendly customer service. The tavern is well worth a visit.

The Mgr is a friendly person & the building & view is a nice place. I had a very nice tomato & cheese toastie & coffee.

Love it. Friendly staff. Close walk to my accommodation. Scotch Fillet Steak was delicious according to my friends. Good prices. Would be nice to try some local produce as well since we on Flinders Island.

Ate here twice during my recent trip to Flinders Island - food was great, especially the crumbed scallops!

Always fantastic whenever visiting Flinders Island. Clean accommodation and great service. Nothing is ever a problem when your running on island time.

Service was certainly not as friendly as I was lead to believe and the food was rather average for the price.

Great night, great company, great service, great meal, worthy night ie, raising funds for the community through raffle! What more could you want? Nothing I say, thankyou everyone!

Great views from the deck, good atmosphere in the bar, had a very nice scotch fillet steak with peppercorn sauce for dinner followed up with an apple and raspberry crumble. The rest of the meals around the table looked good, very generous serving size.

Just the best place for lunch, wow what a view, best view in lady Barron, looking over franklin sound, (ocean) foods very good, staff are great and helpful prices are about average /normal, good selection of beers and wines local Gin,
And Award winning The Straitsmen pinot.when in stock.very nice and they do dinner, need, to book for dinner all in all a great tavern and deck area good thing to do in lady Barron.

Such a beautiful location. The owners have a great view off the balcony, the restaurant and the actual bar through to the ocean view. The hours for lunch and dinner are tight, so I recommend you check times and plan being there. We arrived 20-minutes after lunch so missed out. The menu choice is good and what we saw other people having is very fresh. The bar area is really clean, great size pool table, music and TV.
