We came for the olive oil but stayed for the wine tasting and ended up taking a few bottles home. Some delicious wines and exceptional customer service, the staff are passionate and really know their stuff.

Had a most enjoyable wine tasting experience here. The help from all three people was excellent. The lady from Texas on her first day, french bloke who was returning after a year away and the Australian lady welcoming her family for s visit.

I enjoyed the sparkling, the Riesling, Chardonnay, sweet wine and loved tasting the reds. Getting a taste of 2008 Merlot was a treat.

Absolutely wonderful experience on every level. Beautiful wines (I’m a red drinker and have never liked Riesling but here I am going home with bottles of Riesling!) Botrytis is the best I’ve ever had, and the olive oil is amazing and full of flavour. Kavita who did our tasting knew the products so well and was passionate about the products she was selling. She was extremely vibrant and a pleasure to deal with. Tasting cost us nothing as we made a purchase (several actually!) unlike another nearby winery that charged $25 for a substandard experience and wines that were nowhere near the same quality. Highly recommended. You won’t be disappointed.

Had a wonderful experience here being served by the knowledgeable and friendly Kavita, who displayed clear passion for the wines at this winery. Their wines are unique and flavourful. The olive oil made on site is also robust and peppery. The service was excellent as well.

Here is an authentic Tassie winery! The team are dedicated to their craft from the wine making to their cellar door. Unpretentious and focused on delivering quality.

We did a tasting here and it was lovely. All the wines were absolutely delicious & the lady who served us on Wednesday afternoon was really really lovely & so knowledgeable. It was such a personalised experience for only $5 per person (they also waive this fee when you buy a bottle). The lady was very busy with helping everyone as she was working on her own but she did a fantastic job and was so attentive. We couldn’t resist buying some wine & will be back again when we are in the region in the future.

Probably the worse tasting experience of my life. If I could have given zero stars, I would have. Staff just poured the wines with minimal explanations, extremely impersonal. Barely even any eye contact as they were doing inventory or paperwork simultaneously. I was personally referred by a well known vineyard and specifically did the 2h30 drive for the 10minutes it took to taste 6 wines. Even if this place had the best wines of the world, I would never recommend it. The cellar door was free but not even worth the experience. Thankfully, Tassie has plenty of other stunning wineries to be discovered!

THE best Chardonnay I had in Australia. Buttery, oaky and rich, very special.
We also had the please of meeting Jeff, the man who planted the very first vines on the property and made the place what it is today. Highly recommend!

Lovely simple setup. Great service. Free tasting with purchases. Good coffee. If you're looking for a more intimate wine tasting then this is the place for you. Other places are very busy and jam packed full of people.

Lovely experience. Incredible, friendly, welcoming staff. Delicious wines. Much more intimate than the bigger more commercial wineries.

Very generous selection of wines to taste and Om the bartender was very helpful and knowledgeable. Lovely view outside over the vineyards next to a little flowing waterway, very relaxing.

Definitely the best wine tasting experience we experienced in Tasmania! Not only were the wines delicious (especially the cab sauvignon/merlot), but the service and knowledge presented were above and beyond that of any other local winery. Would recommend to anybody! They also have a great olive oil that flies under the radar, perfect for dipping bread into. Next time we come to Tassie, we'll definitely stop here again!

Fabulous wines. Some of the best wines we have tasted in this region although the winery is not as posh. We were served by Terrence who was absolutely superb, welcoming and knowledgeable.

The wines are amazing, the setting is beautiful and the hospitality was as good as anything we’ve experienced. Our compliments to Romy for her broad knowledge, generosity and infectious positivity!

Great experience at Freycinet Vineyard. Knowledgeable and personalised wine flight at only $5 which was fully redeemable on wine purchase. Full range of wines offered for tasting. They even offered to post our purchases home for free. Quality wines at reasonable prices, would definitely recommend a visit

Such a lovely winery. We had a fantastic time. Our host was helpful and attentive - while looking after another 10 people. We ended up buying 3 bottles of wine which taste fricken DELICIOUS.

Fabulously friendly bunch of people who love their work! Our host (a delightful lady who's name escapes me) took us through a selection of wines from sparkling to desert. And there is no cost for this! Of course we purchased some wine but the process was so much more intimate and informative than some other nearby wineries. Thanks for making a rainy day much brighter.
