Freycinet National Park’s campground reviews
84 gas barbecues! Nicely covered BBQ area with some picnic tables and a tap nearby. Unfortunately there isn’t a view but if you walk through the bushes you will be greeted with an absolutely splendid bay with the Freycinet NP in the background.
Beautiful spot. Well priced and next to the beach with facilities. We had power and water for the van. Best camping facility Value so far on our Tasi trip! The National Park is a standout
Great spot to camp for the weekend. We took a van and stayed at Richardsons beach. Close to honeymoon bay and the start of the walks to wine house bay and Mount Amos! Spots for coffee and meals in Cole’s Bay. And Bicheno is only a 30 minute drive away to visit too!
Very cheap, paid $16 for a powered site, directly across from the beach, clean toilets and showers, $2 for 4 minutes of hot water. For the price you pay absolutely no complaints
Great location, right on the beach overlooking the mountains.
If you've booked a powered campsite make sure you get there before the visitor centre closes, there is no after-hours phone if you turn up later and some else is in your booked/paid for spot
Showers need $2 coins, despite paying to use camp site. Only accepts $2 coins as well, $1 and less are no good - very frustrating. Also small campsites.
Beautiful place, your tent is right in front of the beach and a short drive to the trekking staring points (Mt. Amos, wineglass bay).
Toilets are clean, drinkable water available and cold water showers as well.
You need the national park pass.
Each night is AUD13 for two people and AUD5 for an extra person. You need to book in advance, but we were lucky and found a spot due to a cancelation.
Too many mosquitoes so I advice taking repellent!
I highly recommend this campground!
Beautiful, outstanding scene, long Long Beach. Camp site with power and unpowered site, very relaxing with the natural. Price was reasonable and full with facilities. Toilet, shower, BBQ area and many more. If u plan to visit here end of dec to feb, u have to submitted your application before 31 July. Ballot system drawn will be held on august due to high Demand of campsite using on that time. Milky Way will said high to u every night at here. If u lucky enough, u might have a chance to chase the aurora borealis too.
