A very beautiful route in the forest, with a very impressive number of Wallabis, a little steep, but worth the effort! We did it on a cloudy day, but it was still beautiful.

A wonderful trail, easy to moderate. Very well signposted, you won't get lost. Follow the path clockwise. It is really worth getting to the top, you will have an incredible view of the sea and the abysses.with luck you will see a whole Wallaby family in their natural habitat.

Amazing walk! Highly recommend doing it clockwise if you're doing a loop, go up via Grass Point track and back via Fluted Cape track. There are no signs to suggest this but we saw a lot of people doing anti clockwise and slipping on the way down as the Grass Point track is very steep and narrow in some parts.

6.5km loop, complete clockwise for better views as you’re walking
Definitely worthwhile to compete this one while on Bruny Island!

Though there is a bit of clearing work due to fallen tree, but tracks are still walkable. Very enjoyable walk, a bit steep but fun. Not recommended for children since some parts of the track near cliff.

Would recommend to do the track early then come back to the restaurant near the car park for some refreshments.

Amazing scenery, views are stunning as you start your accent up.
Mindful of fallen tree’s and the path to the top has been changed due to large amounts of debris. I recommend wearing good hiking boots as there is lots of mud, exposed tree roots that are slippery and lots of downhill sections that are have been affected by the rain.
You will need water and take a hydro light drink as you will sweat lots in winter.

Once you reach the top, enjoy the view.

I would also pack some lunch and spend some time up at the flute peak as it will be worth the hike.

A fun and enjoyable walk along to brumby island coastline. Easy enough for all ages to enjoy. We only did the 1hr walk and it was more then enough to have a fun time with plenty of natural scenery to enjoy

Tough in parts but well worth it. Took us a good 2.5hrs to walk with a few stops to enjoy the views and to watch the echidnas pottering around us.

Absolutely stunning walk and well worth the effort. It is very steep in places and can be quite challenging. The views are spectacular. Highly recommend doing this walk.

It’s a loop track. Suggest you go clockwise if you want to get the steep section out of the way first.

We did it from Grass Point, and the climbing to Flute Cape is really steep, but all the view points are awesome! Other walkers did it in the opposite way and they said the climb is much easier.

I loved this walk!
Did it clockwise to save my knees, and have a proper workout up to the top.
Took me 1h 45min, though I'm a relatively fast walker.
Heaps of roos along the way.

If you don’t have a lot of time to do the entire Fluted Cape Walk, or simply don’t want to attempt the very steep hike up to the sea cliffs, the out and back walk to Grassy Point is just lovely.
It’s flat, has lovely views back down the bay, there are wallabies in the undergrowth and birds and ferns, and at the end a little island and sea birds.
An easy 45 minutes for a nice, safe walk for everyone.
To access the walk park in the car park at the far end of Adventure Bay, next to the carpark for the cruise, walk to the beach, turn right, then head to the sign.

Incredible views along the way
Not to hard of a hike but quite steep in elevation
Definitely recommend checking it out

Fluted Cape Walk, and literary Bruny Island themselves one of the most beautiful spots I've been.
Short walk, were you can definitely take some nice shots.
Hope I can come back sometime again.

Great walk. Some steep sections but well worth it. It's a loop track and depending if you like walking up the steep section first or walking down it last. To do the steep part first use the Grass Point walking path.

Be prepared to walk for 1 hr on an incline and 1 hr on a decline. It is worth the payoff as the views are stunning once you reach the top. I wouldn't suggest going on a wet day as the track may not be safe when walking along the cliff face.

Good hike. Be prepared to walk for a couple of hours. We saw so many wallaroos or wallabies. Stunning views too!

Worth the hike. Views are awesome. Very steep sections but not too bad. Would not recommend if you have bad knees. At the grass root and fluted Cape fork, better to go up the fluted Cape then come down grass root trail.

Go west-east (clockwise) and each fork keep closer to the edge. This way you go up hard and then down easy. Total walk would be 2-3 hours loop. No kids! Edge is exposed and it is very steep and very high.
