Fish on the Edge reviews
58 Delicious food of calamari, scallops and Trevally with hot chips, yet the price was a bit steep $28 for trevally and chips.
Comparing this to the Foreshore.
The Brownie Dessert was not to be believed!
Crushed brittle, caramel drizzle, Salted Caramel Ice Cream and decorative presentation combined artfully in a culinary treat. It’s size made it ideal for two! Thanks…
Very bland gluten free option, they had much better chips before, not worth the high price any more.
Excellent menu catering for all tastes. Great seafood chowder. Interesting seafood dishes.
Absolutely LOVE this place! Only our second visit but Wow Wee, the service, prices & food are fantastic! Best fish & chips I've had in years, except for the first/last visit here
Very clean bright and a warm welcome by all! Both Crumbed and battered flake excellent crispy fresh well cooked not oily. Chips good size and thickness and crunchy, big portion. Onion rings were excellent and Calamari was good mild spice. $70 dinner for 4. Would recommend and go again.
Fish on the Edge has the best fish and chips in Tasmania. Always cooked to perfection and so fresh. Credit to all staff. Thank you again.
Beautiful staff, delicious food. Highly recommend the oysters and calamari. Local ciders for the adults and ice cream for the kids.
Great food, friendly service. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that I had to wait quite a while for food.
With a platter to share, one small bowl of salad seemed a tad illogical.
The fish was superb.
Have had lunch here a few times and have never been disappointed. We had flake and chips and flathead and chips and onion rings. Servings were of a great size (too much for us to eat), and the fish was fresh, hot and lovely. Service has always been exceptional every time we've been there.
Very nice food whether eat in or Take-away. Large menu choice & kids meals. Unfortunately I can never fit in dessert because I'm too full! They even have a variety of fresh fish. We were a group 14 people tonight & were served in a timely manner. The staff are lovely & friendly Tonight I shared The Edge Seafood platter for 2, it was delicious.
Came here in the recommendation of a local. The chowder was amazing, but the bun was disappointing. The fish was pretty tasteless, as were the chips, so I'd recommend only getting the chowder. Ice cream looked good, I'll try it next time I come here
I'd heard this place was good, but I didn't realise just HOW good! I had the Macadamia Encrusted Salmon and honestly, I don't think I could have had better in a fancy restaurant - absolutely superb!
Add to that a lovely dessert (Affogato), really friendly service, and being dog-friendly (we were sitting outside) and I can't recommend this highly enough!
The best gluten free dairy free fish and chips with salad ever good price as well thank you
Always good eating here. Great staff and menu. Although the Laksa is certainly not laksa. No flavor at all.
Absolutely fantastic fish, Chips and salad. Wow, great service and great food. Will certainly be going back again, soon. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.
Friendly staff and lovely ambience but the fish was a bit dry and the calamari a bit chewy. The quality of seafood was better at the foreshore.
Easily the best fish n chips on the coast if not the state
Every thing else is amazing aswell, simple food done to perfection
