This has just the best vibe of authentic mom and pop family business and greek did ever. Really friendly staff and so knowledgeable about the menu. Was just delightful. $200ish for 3 people, including a 17 year old son with bottemless appetite, with a bottle of red and just so full. Was well priced.

Amazing food. Very friendly staff who are passionate about their food and what they do. Would highly recommend for great dining experience.

We loved Filoxenia. The food was delicious, Sophia was so kind. Dolmades and octopus were standouts. Honey puffs yum yum.

Filoxenia is truly one of a kind! The food, service and vibe is the best you’ll get in Hobart. We loved it so much that we returned following our backcountry hike up the Old River. If you want an honest feed go see the lovely people at Filoxenia! Cheers

Filoxenia dining is a joy. Highly recommended. The hosts welcome you with a huge smile and genuine warmth, are helpful explaining their excellent menu. Absolutely beautiful! The mains were delicious. I loved the pita bread and also the desserts. Super friendly stuff. You can really taste that everything is homemade and made with love. Well done.

We had an amazing experience at Filoxenia from the most welcoming and friendly staff to the authentic Greek cuisine. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

What an amazing little Greek resturant, Mike and his partner where fantastic, attentive, the service was great the food was traditional greek. If you want to enjoy and evening out and are happy to wait for good food this is the greek resturant to go to. Reasonably priced and very enjoyable.

Had mixed grill. Meal was adequate but nothing special. Mixed meats with a small amount of salad and some Greek yoghurt. Service was good and wine was good.

We were tempted in by the smells from the street. Safe to say, everything that came out was delicious. The Mediterranean Calamari is the tastiest calamari I’ve had in a long time and highlight of the night. Fava beans and souvlaki chicken topped off the traditional Greek/Cretan meal and the Greek wines available were terrific!

What a wonderful place! Traditional Greek food made with love) My family is Turkish and they said this was the best dolma they have had since moving to Australia! Everything was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our night. The family is also lovely and we enjoyed talking to them. Great restaurant.

Every one enjoyed their meal, mixed grill for me from an extensive range of homestyle Greek cusine offering good value for money. Efficient friendly staff in a lovely atmosphere, recommend.
