Family Doctor Service

I have been attending Kings Meadows Family Doctors Service for quite some years as doctors have moved on I have changed to the new doctor. Everyone of the doctors I've seen have been great with the best patient doctor relationship.
The receptionist staff are the best and could teach many front of house staff of many businesses just what client service means. If there is anyway possible to help they will do it. Nothing is ever too much for them.

My wife and I have attended the practice for 5 years (my wife is disabled and has complex care needs). Our doctor does his best to look after us and shows empathy. Sometimes we have a long wait time but I think this is beyond the practice's control, as one late patient can screw up the whole day and some people really do have complex issues. Would recommend to anyone and we are grateful for being bulk-billed.

Absolutely amazing service all reception were really respectful and tested me really well. Doctor Jannat was fabulous to deal with and very quick. Annnd it's bulk billed which was great. Will def come back.

Absolutely appalled at how the office staff treated us when doctor was "running late", lying to someone to cover your mistakes is just unacceptable.
When trying to find someone to talk to and resolve the issue, all the girls did was have a laugh and a smirk at the guy left waiting with two autistic kids for over an hour. I gave the surgery a chance to call and resolve and they have ignored the issue, therefor im putting up this review and have also lodged formal complaints with both ombudsman and tas health authority.

Just for the public interest, this manager is full of it (as made obvious below by all their responses to negative feedback).
I waited over a week before posting this review and the staff where so horrible I stood outside crying for 35 minutes. If this and your response is how you think people with Autism and adhd should be treated because they were "short" with you and upset, how about teaching your staff to deal with nuerodivergent individuals instead of laughing at them.

Excellent service. Bulk billing is so appreciated, especially when we are on pensions. Very happy with the service, especially after some previous practices I have dealt with.

I have some x-ray to be received, there's a few Drs there that don't care about anyone and push them through I've to to tell my symptoms and all I received was what do you want now.
So rude and disrespectful.
For the staff at the desk they do an amazing job and unfortunately get the hard end of it.
The Dr said she/he will get back to me on the same day, I am waiting as I am in pain bit she/he failed to do so. Also don't like being told that I'm not injured when the Dr can't feel my pain.
We are all humans. I've been there for a year now, and won't refer anyone to them as I wouldn't want anyone else to be spoken to like a peace of dirt

Amazing Family Doctor’s Surgery, Receptionists are wonderful and the nurses. Dr Teck Teh is an awesome doctor.

Seems like one star unknowns are doctor shopping for meds, go tremble elsewhere, I have nothing but praise for the professional conduct of this practice. Bulk billing is not an entitlement for all, it's a service from a private business

Well from prescribing medication that causes depression for a child to the staff passing around a phone having a good laugh at what was on it, that someone must have lost at the clinic. This is by far the worse doctors I know of in Launceston! I regret that I have to put one star just to post this.

Very disappointed I hurt my back at about 5 and I rang for a script which takes less then 30 seconds to print, rang at 5: 45 apparently closed but advertised time say 6 very very poor effort

Every every poor was really good there at one stage but can only get appropriates in 3 weeks when we could ring all most every day and get one now u have to wait 3 weeks before u even get one its beyound the joke u really need to do something about it thanks

For me they're fine, my hubby had had trouble, changing his script without his knowledge so we are no longer covered by PBS.
This means he cannot take his medication as he needs, which which can seriously harm him, and we have to wait for an appointment next week to 'sort' it out. I don't know how he will go over the weekend.

These doctors are great. And they bulk bill unlike most doctors in town. Some could learn to smile tho. Only problem is there is usually a long wait to see your doctor, anywhere up to an hour past your appointment.

Love it staff are excellent Doctors are brilliant and also bulk bill bes Doctors if anyone asks i would 100% recommend family doctor service

Finally doctors in Launceston who LISTEN! They take your concerns seriously. Bianca is extremely knowledgeable. Earnest is wonderful with children, my kids love him and he has an infectious laugh. He respects a parent's opinion in regards to their child's health issues, particularly the mother. He does not hesitate and do guess work as many GPs do, rather he refers to the correct specialist without delay. This is such a refreshing change in Launceston!
