Had my first curly cut experience with Celeste Meincke today, AMAZING! Such a beautiful space, calm and welcoming. After years of straightening my curls I decided around 8 months ago it was time to start embracing them. I've struggled with growing out a fringe and never really being happy with how it was sitting. Celeste has shown me today that you can have a curly fringe and love it. The shape of my hair is so balanced! I'm now looking forward to continuing my curly journey. Highly recommend Eye Am Hair, a fabulous space, welcoming team, environmentally friendly and natural products that smell so good and make your hair feel so soft. EyeAmHair is an awesome Salon and Kat is THE BEST! She's talented, professional, experienced and inspired! She's also friendly and fun to chat with. Kat is always keen to hear what I want (she listens AND she can deliver, which is rare!) but she's also full of great ideas about what would look good on me, and she's never been wrong! I have loved every cut, colour, and style, and I've seen her roughly once a month for over a year. I could not be a more satisfied client!

I had a curly cut and colour with Ariel today, and I could not possibly be more stoked with how amazing it turned out! Everything I wanted and so, so much more. The vibes of the whole crew were so welcoming, friendly and fun. Ariel was almost more excited than I was and was just completely on the same page as myself with what I wanted. Such ace energy. Great time spent, from the friendly chatting to being listened to and the deconstruction of my bob for the night was a great success.

I had a bit of a hair emergency and Bec was so attentive and kind. The Pagan Parlor was unlike anything I had experienced before, and I will certainly return. Their experience and knowledge in alternative hair styles and types is very apparent, and I had total confidence in their ability to resurrect my hair. They definitely exceeded my expectations and I couldn’t be happier! 10/10!

Not everyone can create a hair cut that you can rock while on a stage as well as straight out of bed without any product, but Kat Loos can! My hair needed some tlc after 9 months without curly hair love. I wanted it to be funky, my curls reborn and to rock my greys, but I didn’t want to have to spend hours styling. I am also a regular bike rider so I also needed it to look fabulous when I throw off the helmet and walk into a meeting. I was also about to embark on a weekend of crazy science talks and I needed some serious hair help. Kat listened and delivered the best hair cut of my entire life, and my hair has never looked so good first thing in the morning as I feed my chickens. It was my first time in Kat’s chair but I felt totally at ease and could have stayed for hours. The whole eye am hair team rocks, and so if you are hesitant to book in with Kat, don’t be! And as I look in my car mirror while I type this review, it still looks awesome on a rainy windy Tassie day!

I was a bit nervous to get my hair cut, but they did a fantastic job, suggested a cut that I wouldn't have even considered but it very much suits me, and it was a lovely overall experience, they were so nice! Strongly recommend

The pagan parlour at the Huon Valley Midwinterfest was an absolute treat. The bell tent was toasty warm, they had a killer festival playlist and the team had nothing but good vibes. Bec gave me some great advice on dealing with my curly hair, along with an awesome new cut. Run don't walk to your next appointment, this team are the best!

This was my first curly cut, Ariel is undeniably talented and made the experience enjoyable and comfortable. Ariel was as excited, if not more, about the transformation of my hair which is exactly what you want from a hairdresser. Would definitely recommend for other curly haired people!:)

I've never had a curly hair cut before and I must say my first experience was awesome! Celeste is a generous and kind soul who took the upmost care in bringing out the best in my unruly locks. She had me looking and feeling like Beyonce when she was done. I will definitely be back as I haven't had this many compliments on my hair since.ever! If you've got curls and you've been flat ironing them or feel overwhelmed by how much hair you've got, the miracle workers at Eye Am Hair will transform you (see above where I said I am basically Beyonce now).
