6Clearly a much loved heritage home. Beautifully looked after, a huge garden suitable for children to run around & play in. 3 bedrooms (one with twin beds), comfortable beds & plenty of linen. Eclectic collection of memorabilia and furnishing. Easy walking distance to town, beaches & The Nut.
Estowen is a charming home with a very special family history. Staying there makes us feel a part of the delightful village of Stanley. The house is always spotless with fascinating memorabilia and the lovely garden is private and sheltered. What more could one ask for?
Good rate for a 3br house, only 3 stars due to the old dank smell the place had. Needed a good airing.

Staying at Estowen House is a bit like house sitting for your Great Aunty while she is on holidays. One is instantly transported back to a time when the world was a different place. The furniture in Estowen house is manly from the interwar period, with the bathroom being the modern exception. Two of our party loved the place. Another two in our party felt like they were intruding in someone else’s home and were nonplussed. I would definitely stay there again.
