Elwick Hotel reviews
6I'm specifically reviewing the 9/11 as I haven't been inside the hotel itself. With that aside, it's a small but sufficient bottle shop. They are able to fulfil our household needs on a regular basis, and that's really all it needs to do. The people that work there are nice and though we don't really converse I feel some familiarity with them through repeated exposure (I'm not an alcoholic I swear). My partner is a wine drinker and 9/11 seems to be the only shop that stocks her choice beverage. I am a beer drinker and I suppose the only reason I'm giving this 4 stars is because I wish they had more in terms of European beers. A caveat from operating within such a small store, imaginably. With that said they do have the staples of all types you'd expect to find in this country. Still, it's the nearest bottle shop to my house, and for that fact alone I will keep going there.
Fun, friendly bar staff 8ball table, jukebox, bar food can be order, warm friendly atmosphere,
Once again heating faulty no supplementary heating or apologies poor customer service for regulars
Regular customer but not happy when 4 staff members serve 2 people in 5 minutes but are too busy to walk upstairs to find a bar meal that had run out. Staff stood at counter chatting and ignored our request for a lunch order. Might give the place a break for a while.
Great for after hours pokies, central to transport fast foods. Friendy staff n service.
They let my son and I in with my emotional support dog a chihuahua where we spent over $200.00 and were very accomadating, even giving me a container for water for my dog. The carlyle Hotel said we could only have 1 drink, that's why we went to the Elwick Hotel.
