Lovely. Sat on the deck over looking some water and had great food. Kids had a great time exploring outside safely.

Definitely worth driving a bit out of the way to Lauderdale for this delightful restaurant. It wasn't busy when our party were there for lunch but the owner served us, very professional and prompt without being overbearing. The wine offering had a good breadth and reasonable prices. The food was of a very high standard. I had the pasta which was superb. The kids fish and chips were the best quality ive ever seen frankly. And the desserts were all devoured eagerly. I had the pannacotta which was sublime, although the poached quince (also lovely) wasn't quite cored properly if i had to quibble. Even the toilets had stacks of cotton hand towels that would have been washed and reused. All in all a wonderful venue. Dinner seems to finish early at 8pm though which seems early. But for breaky or lunch highly recommended.

Great service. Great food. Portion size could have been slightly bigger. Ordered 2 kids meals to feed my 9 year old. No option of just having a main size. Very enjoyable evening.

Incredible food at an unexpected location. If you have a flight out of Hobart, this is a great last stop! Coffee, Duck, fish and dessert were all fantastic!

Since it's opening all meals we have had here at this relaxed venue from breakfast to dinner and casual drinks with cheese platter after work have been excellent.

Driftwood is one of those restaurants which I'm always very happy to recommend. Beautiful ambience, excellent service and delicious food! Today's lunch was no exception: we were four at table and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. An entree of oysters for some, I chose a sublime green pea panna cotta with smoked trout pate and charcoal crackers (not really crackers but huge shards of deliciousness). Our mains were: a salmon dish, a herb crusted trevally, and two beautifully cooked porterhouse steaks. The Italian meringue dessert was a fitting finale! All washed down with a Chromy sparkling! YUMMO!
