Good sports centre, but no facilities for coffee, water etc. Need to take everything like that with you.

I absolutely loved this place. It is a wonderful place to unwind and stay fit. I did some laps. The amenities are well kept and the whole place in general.

Hasn't changed a great deal since I was a kid and yes to use the facilities with my school and it really doesn't need two, it supported the large school athletics carnival just fine.

Hobart Dog Training Club is a great place with instructors who volunteer their time and knowledge to help set up your dog for success. Whether you like obedience, Rally, agility, flyball, Scentwork, or starting out with a puppy - they can help you. Visit their website for more info!

Well maintained place and clean and great place to visit if you want to go train or have a nice stroll as there is a nice oval right next to the actual track.

Clean toilets Nd even out the front a Awesome park for theittle ones with great BBQ facilities.

Such good care in maintaining the grounds an around. Shame spectators were not advised prior to going. No canteen no coffee truck.

Loved the place on the day there was a dog show, park run and further down mini track meet. The recreational area has a playground and two ovens to make pizzas bread or any baked goods within reason. I think the clubhouse belongs to a cricket club?

Good facilities for running with good parking. Great children's park with BBQ and Pizza Oven on the opposite side to the carpark.

The domain has all athletics needs like: shot put circle, Discus and hummer throw cage and javelin runway.if you need a place to do exercise I would recommend the domain in Hobart.

Sports facilities are great, however in poor weather it is extremely cold if wet &/or windy, even in the under cover in grandstand.

Love the place its purpose built for athletics the facilities are amazing. Great spot for training and competition.

Always wonderful to be able to witness family participation in their school sporting events. Very well organized by New Town Primary school staff.

What a brilliant place for an athletics track. The view and the green grass makes the place enjoyable.

The best place in Hobart to pull some laps. I haven't swam in an indoor 50m pool for a long time so yesterday when I got to do 1.5km in the 50m pool it was a pleasure. Friendly staff and very clean facility.

Great place to walk your dog, walk yourself, walk your gimp. Walk anything really.

Or run.

Good open areas. Good for practicing flying model planes/drones.

If track and field is your thing, the Domain Athletics Centre provides the facilities you need in the south of the state. The centre may not have the size of toilets that the Northern Athletics Centre of Tasmania has in St. Leonard's in Launceston but the facility has the equipment and infrastructure needed to run most track and field events. There is a grandstand near the finish line for spectators and the centre regularly holds state and sometimes national meets. Being situated in the Domain, the centre is close to other sporting and recreational facilities with great views of Hobart a short walking distance away.
