Devonport Holiday Village reviews
11Friendly and economical. Stayed for a month and would stay again. Management on site were friendly and helpful.
We stayed here for a few weeks after our move from QLD. Really nice, easy going management who made our stay pleasant, and a handy location to top it off. Would recommend for sure.
Don't go here
There are no blinds or curtains in the bathroom
The sink in the kitchen plug was not cleaned properly with chunks of meat and vegetables still in the plug hole
The bed mattreses are stained all over no bed sheets no linen
And no rubbish bins
The management are abhorrent - very expensive for a run down park and poor park facilities - so many better places close by - these people are liars and treat guests and residents terribly and with a high level of disrespect - they also steal off mental health patients who are vulnerable- if tasmania actually had a caravan parks legislation they would be up for human rights violations
Lady at reception use all the tricks in the book to maximise the profit. Their rules are worse than anywhere else. Price too high.
Very dodgy and deceiving service. There is no fixed price, just try to find ways to rob you of more and more money. Lies after lies, it's unbelievable how money hungry they are, disgusting service. Discussed one price over the phone, then increased the price at the counter, i agreed because i had nowhere else to stay. Once all the documentation was done the lady at the counter wanted me to sign contract for several months otherwise the price will be more again. Very arrogant people.
Do not go there if you have the choice. Avoid if possible.
I've stayed for around 2 months here got new cabin and new equipments. Nice place to stay with reasonably price.
Nice friendly cheap just really noisy first thing of morning busses pat the cracks of dawn otherwise nice
Very happy with the site. Had a nice friendly vibe and reasonable price. Only stayed overnight n a cabin
Looked at this place while searching for new rental property just in case I couldn't find a house, luckily I found somewhere because this place seemed awful. Office lady was lovely, professional and friendly, BUT it was obvious she had been told not to discuss price until owner came to meet me, he kept asking what I could afford, obviously to gouge maximum profit. Went from offering 280p.w. (!) plus power down to 220 for a tiny bedsit cabin. A caravan was 180 p.w. With power on top and also supplying your own gas for the cooktop. Felt like I was dealing with a dodgy used car salesman as he was very pushy and obviously trying to 'close the deal' on the spot. Also ants all over the place inside and generally run down interiors. 0/10 avoid if at all possible.
It's a bit o.k. Been taken over with new owners who are installing new self contained building's
Amenities need updating back in the 70's
Suspect new building's are for more for permanent residency as there are quite a few there
Small limited area for caravaners
Sorry didn't use my camera @ the time to give u view of the site we was on
