Derford Farm Campsite reviews
18 Very beautiful place with superb view. The owner is nice too. On site: a toilet with flush, sink, enough to make a campfire.
Price per night: $20
A great place to stay, clean toilet, dri king water, lush green grass, communal fire pit but the big attraction is the stunning view, simply magnificent.
What an amazing place to stay. Clean Flushing toilet fresh drinking water fire pit and wood. Almost had this place to ourselves except for a late coming couple who we wouldn't have known they were there. Staying on a farm listening to the waves crash go figure. Extremely well priced. Use the honesty box or direct deposit, info in toilet. Thanks heaps Barry if I could leave more than 5 I would
Beautiful spot for a camp! The view is amazing and the facilities are very satisfying for 15 AUD. This is so nice to find a place like this!
Spectacular and Beautiful views, flushing toilet, clean drinking water, lush green grass, great winery within walking distance. Close to mountains, beach’s and walking tracks. Thanks to Barry’s foresight years ago we now get to stay at this lovely campground at a very reasonable price.
A superb spot asking for its tranquility to be enjoyed. There's a cabin on site, otherwise a beautiful grassy side of a hill with some level patches to park your camper or pitch your tent. If you know that you are going to be noisy because you want to party or have kids who play wildly, please don't come and and spoil this gem for everyone else seeking peace and quiet! You can even pay by direct credit to their bank account and save your valuable cash for other sites!
Didn't stay here, just saw it driving past and really wish we had. The view was incredible
Great campsite with great views and a clean toilet and drinking water. Hard to find info about it but there is an honesty box, price is $15 per site per night and an extra $5 a night if you’re using firewood.
Easily the best camp spot around this area with awesome amenities and fireplaces and the view is insanely good!
This dog friendly campground has amazing views of the ocean! There is a dog friendly beach near by and a cute little vegetable garden stall just down the road.
We stayed in Barry’s AirBnB cabin and it was super cosy.
Wow what a place. We got put onto this by Greg at Bangor Shed - amazing suggestion at the 11th hour. Woke up to an amazing sight!
Fabulous views, suitable for tents and motorhomes, not Caravans as small sloping site. Very clean toilet with drinking water. Shared, sheltered firepit with cooking grill. Friendly farmer host, Bruce. $15 per night
Cape Bernier vineyard 500 metres down the road is worth walking to for a glass of wine or tasting, closed Mondays
Had a great night here. Absolutely fantastic view and lovely to have a proper toilet and clean drinking water. Also appreciated the firewood and shelter around the fire pit. First campsite in tassie where you can pay cashless-all the guys info is in the toilet. Dirt road is also no problem. Can be quite windy but you can still cook because of the shelter around the fire and to be honest the view is worth it. Definitely recommend.
Absolutely lovely place to spend a night or two. Lush grass, flushing toilet, drinking water and gorgeous views! Thank you to the farmer who set this up.
What a wonderful, quiet spot to camp and the view is to die for thank you so much we will be back.
Views to die for. Great facilities. Highly recommended. Windy at times, but magical when it stops.
This is a small but special camp spot capable of handling small tents to caravans and motor homes. Tidy rustic ensuite toilet. Drinking water tap available beside a communal fire place. Winery 400m scenic walk away. This is all topped off with amazing views of mountains and ocean from a very high level.
