Best service i had for many years the girls are so warm and friendly rooms very nice and meals are great coffee is to die for

Reliably gluten free, for celiacs. Almost everything on the menu can be gf. Lovely building, interesting pretty garden. Lovely shop next door.

Beautiful, historic and inviting accomodation. The rooms are beautifully set up with fresh flowers, large luxurious beds and smart TV for a modern twist. Individual bathrooms that are clean and well stocked with fluffy towels and all you could need for a stay away. The towel warmer was a nice touch.

My only concern was the early wake up because of music blaring from the cafe downstairs. My room was near the top of the stairs. 6.30 -7 am is a little early for music, and it was decent music too.
I just found it ironic there are little signs near the TVs saying quiet time for guests between 10pm-7am! That should go for staff too!
Otherwise a highly enjoyable stay in a fabulous, iconic building, in a beautiful township.

I went there for lunch and ordered the officer burger. This was no way worth $25. A big mac would be better. It was small, tasteless, and when I packed it up it flooded the plate. Seriously not worth $10.seriously not good. Not sure what the rest of the menu was like. Coffee was great though, if that's any consolation.

Excellent spot for a great cup of coffee, or something to eat. All the food I've had here so far has been thoughtful, modern, and delicious. The girls who work in the front counter are cheerful and make a really good cappuccino. Our go-to place in town.

Please change the menu back - I used to love visiting the cafe but not keen on the new menu - Especially serving up jalapeños on eggs benedict!

Amazing experience food and environment. Beautiful surroundings and the food was amazing. A must do in Cygnet.

Perfect morning breakfast, the food was delicious and easy. Nothing super heavy, just simple but healthy. Lots of parking available but the place is busy, so make sure you do the reservations before coming in. There are heaps of drinks options available aa well.

Amazing food, atmosphere and staff are lovely. Highly recommend the pea fritters with poached egg!

Call in regularly for excellent coffee particularly on Tuesday & Wednesday when Luke & Annette are in charge!

Coffe good both times, particularly from Luke. Food was fresh the first time during the week but made the mistake of going back on a Sunday and staff unfriendly and both food was stale.

The best coffee ever,? I have tasted coffee around Sydney, Adelaide but in Hobart, especially Cygnet Old Bank is the best. The Asian guy made perfect foam and temperature. Friendly and warmly service

We stayed for a night in this lovely B and B. The room was lovely and the breakfast in the Cafe was excellent as was the service. A lovely touch were the fresh flowers in all the rooms.

Food took over an hour to come out.both times I've been there.wouldn't choose to go again unless I had plenty of time to waste. Food was alright though.just the wait time is a turn off. Maybe they only serve the regulars quickly? Plenty of people ordering half an hour after us were fed very quickly with the same stuff we ordered

Lovely place to stay. The rooms are styled well and clean. The Cafe downstairs has excellent service and good food. The owner Sharon is a real gem. Highly recommend. Good value for money.
