Found this gem on my last day in Tasmania and it's absolutely incredible. The food came in a generous portion, and with a variety of sides. They're super delicious also. I have one crackling pork with rice and share combination beef pho with my friend. The crackling pork was super juicy, and the sides (cucumber, picked veggies, etc.) were super fresh. The pho was also incredible, I couldn't resist continuing to shoving it down even though the rice already made me felt so full.

Yummy Vietnamese food. The beef pho and banh mi were delicious. The bread was really crispy and the pho had a lots of flavour. Have been to Vietnam many times this is one of the best authentic Vietnamese cuisine we have had in Australia. Would 100% recommend to visit.

One of the best tofu banh mi I have tried. The bred is so fresh and the tofu is perfectly marinated. Theis vegetarian soup is also pretty good. Highly recommend.

Like a food court dining experience - pay at counter and you find your own table. Quick service, ordered the combo phone and the stock was fine, not bad but nothing spectacular. Maccas of Vietnamese food.

Sunday evening meal on the way through the city. Takeaway meals for 3 people all prepared within 10 minutes. The banh mi, spring rolls and pork cha siu were all great. The place was quite busy for a Sunday afternoon, an obvious sign of a good food stop. Staff were efficient, kept the tables clean and were looking out for who was next with good attention.

Yummy Vietnamese food at a good price. Ingredients were fresh and everything was very tasty. It does get busy at lunch time but they're efficient with service so you can usually find a place to sit. Highly recommend the vermicelli noodle bowl with lemongrass beef!

We were there with our toddler to then regretted the choice. The restaurant does not have space catered for families with pram nor do they even have high chair for infant/toddler.

We ended up sitting at those high desk and saw a few ‘couples’ seated at 4 seater table, the staff at the restaurant saw us holding onto our toddler in laps but made no effort to arrange the customers to potentially accommodate us - no service at all.

Though the food was nice but we had to follow up for the spring rolls and came 30 mins after we sat.

I don’t recommend families with pram and kids to visit for the reasons above. Might be able to find other restaurants to at least have high chair. Ironically, they sell kids menu.

It’s well known as the No. 1 Vietnamese Pho in Hobart, the location is good, on the Elizabeth St, and easy to find it. It’s busy all day there, there are several tables outside, and the staffs are not hospitable enough to everyone. The Pho and Banh Mi are good, they are better than any other Vietnamese restaurants.

Everything is delicious but I can't go past the lemongrass tofu banh mi! I've been ordering it for years and it's always amazing (and so cheap!)

The staff warmly welcomed us when we came in, we ordered spring rolls, which were crunchy and full of flavor. And we ordered the crackling pork, which was flavorful and was delicious! Definitely will come again!

I tried the Beef Pho, Ice Vietnamese coffee, Ban hmi. The first restaurant that I tried was Ice Vietnamese coffee, and I fell in love with the coffee. Then I tried another restaurant, but the taste wasn't as good as this restaurant. The beef Pho and Crackling Pork Banh Mi were good as well.

No frills but no disappointment here. The Pho is great and best one this close to the city. The Oxtail Pho is a bit over kill. The special Pho has everything you'd want. Great soup, not too sweet. Only downside is the herbs with it is pretty non-existent but minor quibble.

Hard to go wrong with anything on the menu. The pho, pork chop and rice or vermicelli noodle salads are all great.

Heard that this is the best Vietnamese food Hobart can offer, so we decided to give it a try. Overall, the statement seems to be correct:

The pho dishes are good if you like Southern Vietnamese pho. Sweet bone broth with full of meat, but Hanoi Pho is not really Hanoi. It is quite sweeter and only difference is that it used stir-fry beef.

The crackling pork rice was a disappointment, considering I am a fan of crackling pork: burnt and not intact skin, and not too big meat portion of meat for the price paid. I regretted this and wish that I’ve ordered pho instead.

It is indeed best Vietnamese food for Hobart, but certainly not the best in Australia.

Compared to Sydney pho restaurants especially in Bankstown, it is well below the mark but this is probably the best Hobart can offer.

My experience today at Cyclo dining was disappointing. I’m concerned about both the hygiene and customer service of this restaurant.

My family member found a fly floating in the pho soup she ordered. We informed the staff member who served us the meal and the reply we got was a short apology and the explanation saying that the weather is too warm so that there are many flies near the food serving area. Then the staff asked us what do we want for this situation without offering any specific options as the pho with the fly was almost finished by the time of discussion. We are not sure we will come back again to eat at Cyclo.

This place is Always busy, which is usually a good sign the food is great.
I've been back twice, two days in a row.
Best Bah Mi I've had in Tassie,
"cracling pork" with chilli, could of been more of that little red spice. My first roll was loaded second not as, but just as yummy.
Will be back.
