Don't go in with a large off road van.
Road in is poorly sign posted and overgrown both top and sides.
We really wanted to stay here but the office sign was contradictory saying " push buzzer if unattended " and " don't push buzzer if it's not an emergency "!
We left.

Do yourself a favour, stay clear. I should've read the wolf creek review first. I kept looking for the camera's thinking I was on one of those punk shows. Not only did this sad excuse of a human being parade around on his little orange tractor but I also overheard him yelling at his guests and using profanity. Clearly he is not a people person, but pretty sure he should be confined to a white jacket. I only hope that the owner. DALE takes a good hard look at himself and does the Nobel thing and apologises to these people. I also learnt they own another park in Stanley.

We recently stayed in the spa treehouse with our 2 Rottweiler's the staff were very friendly and happy to have you stay with your dog/dogs which I very much appreciated.
The treehouse is very rustic which I loved the rooms are large and the beds were comfortable, cabin has everything you need for meals including microwave and good sized fridge. Coffee, tea, milk and toiletries were all supplied, we did take our own drinking water as I believe its bore water and I just preferred bottled water but it wasn't brown and it didn't smell our dogs drank it and were fine.
The aircon works great which was good because we lit the wood heater and had to open doors so heating will never be an issue. All the spots here caravan or camping and cabins are quite large and private great for a family.
Its central to everything if you like sightseeing and most places are happy to have pets with you.
The cabin had a large deck with BBQ which was great for the dogs to roam as in the park they need to be on a lead due to the amount of wildlife. The only recommendation I would make is a small gate at the top of the stairs that lead into the cabin to keep small children and dogs in. Of a evening the opossums came to visit and we were able to feed by hand. The beach and river are a stones throw away with great little walking track that takes you under the highway for safety. We loved everything about it and will be back and soon. If you want a palace don't go but if you want a cabin in bush setting that is quite and private and clean and tidy then I recommend crayfish creek.

What a stunning place to camp for the night (or more) - we instantly booked another night upon arrival as it was so beautiful. Well protected from wind also. We will be back

As usual we loved camping here. We love the rustic vibe and getting back to nature. Bike riding, swimming, kayaking and just taking nightly walks around the grounds were amazing.
The camp kitchen could use a good clean and updated furniture, but it served it's purpose.
You can rent fire pits, which was amazing as we relaxed around the fire at night while the kids roasted marshmallows.
The only real negative was the play ground, it's a bit dangerous and needs a desperate update.
Overall our experience was wonderful.

We have stayed recently with our dog in a dog friendly cabin.
Carolyn was very friendly & the park is huge. The park is very rustic with older style cabins however supplied with everything you need. Thanks for a lovely stay.

If going here you need coins for the shower. Nice bush setting, secluded little spots. Can hire a fire pit if you don't have your own. Lovely place on the river

Had the best stay, owner is super nice and lovely, we were out of rice and asked if she had some we could buy and she gave us some rice from her own pantry free of charge. Very welcoming and charming.

This is a beautiful Caravan park, the owners are very helpful and the site's are separated by the bush's. Water was bad, just wished that they could have said that? People would still stay but a least bring full water tanks. See photo of water. Great you can get fire pits.

Place was nice. Facilities were a bit dated but clean. Still a good place to explore the North West Coast.

Great place to stay. Facilities need updating. Timed showers, but understandable given the amount of people that are there.

Nice big secluded sites. We were close to the creek which was nice but on the flip side it was noisy from the trucks on the highway going over the bridge. Try for a spot further back if you’re a light sleeper.
I’d recommend you be self sufficient as much as possible, amenities were clean (I never actually found the camp kitchen) but you do need to put $1 or 20c coins in the slot for the shower!
Great location to explore the area and because each site is surrounded by trees there’s no ocean wind or horrific weather!

FYI - This was our first stop on our holiday and we made additional discoveries about Tasmania
1. Buy a park pass online for your car before you go into any National park - get the holiday pass online before you leave home.
2. Every hike is longer than described and you need proper walking boots in Tasmania!

Love this place. A perfect balance of traditional caravan park amenities and conveniences, and secluded bush camping.

Owners are lovely, friendly and willing to help out to ensure your stay is the best it can be.

Location is great for exploring the region, or just staying close to camp to enjoy the nearby beach, river and walks.

Well worth adding to your agenda. Give yourself several days to enjoy and appreciate what this gem of a spot has to offer.

An amazing place to stay. A little bit of mother nature tucked away in a secluded park. Definitely recommend taking your van to getaway. We will definitely be going back.

We stayed in the "luxury spa tree house" the water stunk! It was yellow and smelt like septic. It is so out dated for 230 a night. The rooms were dusty behind the beds. The spa filters were so dirty we couldn't even use it. The kids had a spa and come out stinking I had to was them off. Look if you paid 140 ish or something a night OK but this was a rip off old utensils just really old and worn out smelt so musty and wet in the house and smelt like septic all night.
Desk was so slippery and dangerous. The kitchen was so sticky under the glasses. The lady was so nice tho just needs lot of TLC and updating

Lovely atmosphere but that was all. The camp kitchen was a disgrace. Nothing cleaned. Broken chairs no hot water. Appliances didn't work. Very disappointed

Love this place. The camping bays are generous, clearly marked and private. The stroll along the rivers edge just perfect. It is an older style park, very clean.

A wonderful place. My son and I were invited last minute by friends. We had a powered site for our tent, we were kindly loaned an extension lead after discovering kmart was closed on the drive over. We had enough mobile reception to be able to enjoy music.

The park had some items like a small shop for those needing cooking oil and so on. Across from reception was a small charming bridge that crossed the creek to our campsite, which was situated right next to the river mouth where my son got to see and pat several dogs, it was really nice to see a dog friendly place.

Friends hired a fire pot that was available at the park. The river mouth was a great spot for wading, swimming or anyone wanting to launch a kayak as many around us did.

The park had communal showers, toilets, a camp kitchen I believe but we did not use it. It has been landscaped and planted out with lots of gums, rattles, tea tree, giant flax, poas, and different varieties of grevilleas that provide ample shade from the sun and windreaks. The place is beautifully landscaped and a natural delight around the foreshore. My son even found wild samphire at the beach to snack on.

We plan on coming back again next Easter. Affordable and truly enjoyable. Thank you for providing such a lovely place for the community.

We had a great time here for our player’s trip. Beautiful bush site with perfect amenities for our group. Close enough to the Rocky Cape Tavern and the Stanley Golf Course for us to have a ripping time.
