23If u want to seclude yourself from the world and have a place where u can relax then this is for u!
One of the world's most beautiful areas to visit, stay, swim and fish,
My best mate had his wedding here also, what an amazing place to start your marriage
Beautiful wild beach red rocks covered in lichen are awesome out to the sea with a stark contrast of white sand and turquoise water. Camping is great very busy during peak times get there early as you can
Beautiful Outlook a lovely walking each. Not a swimming beach though more like mud flats and sharp mussel shells. Quite the night I was there, the locals are very friendly and inviting. Small area for overnight only 5pm -9am
Beautiful views of the beach and Bay of Fires after a short walk. BYO toilet paper for the drop toilet. But nice protected spot for our short stay.
Great spot. Plenty of spots for camping limited spots for swimming without waking or driving. The surf was very rough during our visit. Photos of the gardens included.
A really good free camp area. Plenty of toilets. Beautiful sites that are well sheltered. Breathtaking beach. It’s a favourite spot for my kids adventures. Not good for swimming though.
Was a beautiful camp spot along the beach, the beautiful white sand with clear blue waters, absolutely stunning! Would recommend staying here for sure! The bay of fires is amazing

Great location; amazing beach and inspiring views. The small 'long drop' toilet is a smelly challenge - but well worth enduring to stay at this free and friendly spot! A true Tasmanian camping experience. #livelifeabsolutely
An enjoyable relaxing location that is tough to find in. Right on the water which is a beautiful turquoise.
Beautiful, empty wild beaches and coastline for camping. Best enjoyed out of season, as Jan and Easter are too busy. Beware dangerous sea conditions heavy swells, rips, deep water.
For a free camping this is great. Right on the beach. It would get packed in peak times, but I arrived just after school holidays so a fair bit of room. Drop toilets are clean and don't smell. No showers but you have an ocean!
We stayed for 5 days, camped with a water view. Sunny days and beautiful bright surf. Walking along the beach and fishing off the rocks, it was absolutely spectacular. We saw dolphins on our first day!
Was a bummer our camp was polluted with cigarette butts and aluminium can tabs and bread clips and even found gum.
However, we will be back for another amazing vacation in this beautiful spot on Tassy's East Coast.
Basic free camping spot with no water. Toilets were not clean and not well maintained. Camping area is on black sand so prepare to get dirt everywhere. View was very nice.
Cannot beat the scenery and swimming here. Lovely beach walks. Very basic facility for camping but the beach makes it worthwhile, most sites have a good lot of shade/wind shelter. Saw people catching fish and squid from rocks.
Beautiful place to camp only problem was there is no wheelchair access to the beach for the mother in-law
Bay of Fires, beautiful white sand beaches and pristine waters are a must see when in Tassie. Awesome camp ground with well maintained toilet facilities.don't forget to fill up drinking water containers at the conveniently located filling station on the outskirts of St Helens. Highly recommended.
