Highlights were amazing nature walks and wildlife experience in temperate rainforest, awesome boat trip and explore along the Pieman River. Cute room accommodation in historic cottage (more luxurious new style were available too) with good quality dinners and basic continental breakfast. Take a break from technology and breath the freshest air in Tassie!

Customer service was exceptionally slow and kitchen had closed when we arrived, they are in a gold mine, but have failed to take advantage of this…didn’t stay in accommodation, just a day trip.

Beautiful part of the Tasmanian wilderness, rooms were excellent, well appointed self contained cottages which were very clean and warm.
Having no mobile phone reception, internet, TV or radio can be challenging

Beautiful little spit we liked it. However after arriving late and having no other options We had to pay $40 for camp ground with no power.walk up to the pub for shower and toilet and pay extra $2 for hot water shower. However they cut off their nose depite their face because we had intended to have dinner and drinks in the pub and do the boat trip, we felt so ripped off we cooked our own dinner and left early next morning instead of doing boat trip. So $40 big mistake. You did your self out of a lot more cash

$40 a nite to camp on a piece of grass beside the pub, no power no rubbish bins and they wanted you to pay for a shower, would have had a meal at the pub but after paying $40, no way plus the meals were expensive for a pub

We had a wonderful time camping at Corinna. The boat trip was fun too, though you could probably see nearly as much if you rented kayaks

Former mining village set in the wilderness on the banks of the Pieman River in the State Reserve, it is tel/wifi free - bliss, and only accessible by dirt road. Accommodation is described as eco deluxe - read expensive rustic, but it's clean and comfortable with small kitchenette (no oven or microwave), ensuite bathroom and great gas fire. Lovely hot shower, but note only river water available. Rainwater available at the pub. Set in the wilderness of the Pieman River State Reserve, it is tel/wifi free - bliss, and only accessible by dirt road.

This place is amazing. A must visit. Food was wonderful but the staff are the true gem. So helpful

Beautiful historic village in the wilderness, friendly people and service, clean cabin. What’s not to love! Except maybe the atrocious, pot holes filled, bumpy unsealed road that leads to it from the north!

A great place to visit but I couldn't help feeling the modern rooms were a little out of synch with the history and remoteness of Corinna. At least they look authentic on the outside tho. Trip up the Piemans River on the old power cruiser 'Arcadia' is a must do activity and the on site restaurant and pub is good.

Three of us stayed here for a night. The room we were allocated was perfect. Spacious and comfortable. Good heater as well.
Staff were pleasant, and the pub served good food and drinks at a reasonable price, considering that it is so isolated.
Walks were good, and the cruise down the Pieman River was enjoyable.
At the end, where it met the ocean, it was quite spectacular.

A hidden treasure of a place! Gorgeous cottage rooms, super spacious and serene, loved the little restaurant and pub, the cruise on the boat was a lovely way to experience the rainforest. Staff super friendly and worth the drive and stopover in this part of Tassie.

We just popped in on the way through the Western Explorer on motorbikes. This place was a beautiful break. Try the steak sandwich!

Look, I might havnt escaped from phone calls n endless messages for about 10years - I got my 24hrs life without signal eventually at this isolated Village. Everything is just GREAT. I enjoyed food at the bar, drinks with travel pals, staring at stars at midnight and kayaking along the river. After 3hrs kayaking or hiking, don’t forget to have a cup of hot chocolate.

Very friendly staff, I imagine the location is good in summer. Unfortunately we went in winter and the pub/kitchen was closed. Didn't realise this ahead of time. Not much to do if it's raining. CAUTION dirt road from both locations, average showers/bathroom.

Quaint clean cottages, beautiful location Awesome Meals. Take extra water for drinking as there hasn't been much rain.

If you like shabby, without the chic, you will like it. The view was the roof of the hotel. Bed was comfortable but the kitchen was made from MDF and visible water damage made it look poor. They were inflexible in relation to a discount on the ferry crossing even though we spent $400 at their establishment. I would think twice about going back.

Honestly one of the most beautiful places in the world, it is just a treasure and such a privilege to visit. Was in heaven watching the forest go by on a misty morning on the river cruise. Would highly recommend. Unfortunately did not get a warm welcome from one male employee in particular and heard the same from other guests at the lodge. Later that day again he was very reluctant to go out of his way to help - when I asked when the earliest we could rent a kayak would be as I really wanted to go for an early morning paddle before we had to leave he told me 9 am with no flexibility. I expressed that this was a shame as it would be so beautiful in the early morning and I had to leave before 9. I then came across a group going for a paddle at 7 am the next morning because they were given the option to do the safety briefing the afternoon before - it would’ve been really nice to know this was an option especially given I live in Qld and it will be a long time before I can come back to this beautiful part of the world.
