Called into this shop on a recent visit to Tasmania and received excellent assistance in selecting some local wines and craft beer. The selections were all fabulous which enhanced our holiday so much that when we returned home we used their online shop to arrange a delivery which has allowed us to continue enjoying lovely beverages made in Tassie. This is the best wine shop in Hobart.
Nowhere else has such an incredible range at every price point or imports from every major and many minor wine producing countries. Beyond being the best wine shop in Hobart, put anywhere in Australia it would still be a fantastic example of an excellent cellar.

Best in town for thoughtful range and service. Now has online ordering and deliveries too. The website has the link to sign up for the weekly newsletter which has wine highlights at various price levels together with details of upcoming tasting events. They also have great value cleanskins.

Have to agree with another reviewers experience. I have ten years in the liquor industry, yet when I asked for a young guys recommendation on a local red, he was clearly stumped. Not to mention after I disclosed I was experienced in the industry, he then explained what a vintage was to me. When checking out, the two on registers were clearly arguing with each other. It’s clear this location is only for those who live local, which is fine, just wish I had known before wasting my time.

I saw this place on maps and then came across a sandwich board on the footpath whilst heading out to lunch at Rude Boy [that's another story]. So, as you do, I dropped in on the way back. Tim and Monica have a fabulous set up. Their eagerness to assist was welcomed. They were proud to share their knowledge of the local wines and I was grateful for that. I like to enjoy the wines of the area/state/country I am in. They, and the wines didn't disappoint. Thank you for you assistance. Will drop in again when in town. I highly recommend this place.

Really good selection of craft beer and wine. They seem very busy. Not many prices on the craft beers and beer glasses which is a tad annoying. Will be back for sure.

Great wine store in the centre of Hobart. They offer local, Australian and international wines, as well as a decent craft beer section. Staff are very knowledgeable and happy to show you a thing or too. A recommended stop in Hobart.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff make the experience fantastic - great to get that little bit of insight when making a purchase. Love receiving the weekly newsletter packed full of specials. If I was going to be picky, the only thing I'd think could be better is the parking.but that's no detraction from the shop itself, especially since the refurb and extension has opened up the interior so nicely.

If you are looking for something, this place is the way to go. I was looking for a specific wine in the other bottle shops for ages and I could only get it online. But I popped into their store and they were bringing it in on a regular basis. Very friendly and helpful service as well.
