Coalmines Escape

Wonderful experience! In the morning, we watched sunrise in bed with Kookaburra's singing.a nice walk in the bush and private beach. In the evening, we enjoyed a beautiful starry sky with a fireplace.
The house of coz was spacious and fully equipped with all we need.tons of cookery and herbs.
We also truly appreciated with the cleanliness and the good quality of mattress. Everything in a good design as well as practical detail. What a luxury holiday house!

Absolutely stunning property. We stayed 3 nights, but could have easily stayed for a week. Clean, thoughtful, and genuinely pet-friendly. Lue was a wonderful host and we will definitely be returning!

The owners of this holiday home have gone to great lengths to ensure that holiday makers have the very best experience, from the spaciousness of the house & the absolute attention to detail with regards to the fittings as well as the cleanliness & the superbly comfortable beds this holiday home has something to offer everybody. The water toys are amazing as well as the outstanding views which make the possibility of just curling up in the sun to enjoy a quiet read or snooze most appealing. Can highly recommend the Coalmines Escape for a wonderfully relaxing break.

My family and I had a lovely and comfortable stay at Coalmines Escape. We loved the easy access to the private beach. The house was clean and spacious. Also the host was very easy to contact and she’s very helpful and gracious. We hope to come back for another stay there.

What an amazing part of the world this is! Came down on the Spirit from Melbourne with our kayak and found some great spots to paddle including straight off the beach behind the house to the Coal Mines. Port Arthur is just 30 minutes drive to visit and put the kayak in.

The house is perfect! Views of the water from every bedroom and living areas, just spectacular.
Just have to mention the kitchen is fully stocked with everything, very rare in holiday rentals.

We will be revisiting.

What a wonderful home. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility that this location and home offered. There were stunning views and easy access to the water. We enjoyed taking the paddle boards out everyday. Visited the nearby historic coal mines and Port Arthur. The home was very comfortable, clean and well stocked. Definitely going back.

Enjoyed a 4 day stay with 3 other couples. Found the accommodation to be so comfortable. This newly constructed home has been orientated with uncompromising views to adjacent pristine environment & landscape.
I hope to be back for a longer stay.

We have just spent 2 weeks at Coalmines Escape, what an amazing place. The accommodation is 1st class with out standing views across the bay.

The convict history and insights on the 1st settlers in Australia is priceless. The bush walks, the wildlife and the coastal scenery was simply breathtaking.

Finally if you are into kayaking this is the place to be with world class experiences in the bay and down around Port Arthur.

This property has to be up there with the best in Tassie.
The location is absolutely stunning. Close to the water, nature walks and historic sites.
The house is stylish and beautifully presented. We especially enjoyed the sunrise and sunset panoramic water views from nearly every room in the house.
The owners really have thought of everything that you might need to make your stay comfortable and relaxing.
We will definately come back again; it really is a special place. Highly recommend!
