China Cafe Huonville

If i could give 6 stars, I would. Big portions, even bigger atmosphere. From start to finish, it was electric. You come for the Chinese, you stay for the experience. Single-handedly the best dining experience money can buy in the Huon Valley. 10/10

This is by far the best China based Cafe ive ever been to. Coming here made me a better person.

I used to eat here all the time and went in for lunch on a recent visit to Tas. I had lemon chicken. At lunch time it comes with fried rice. The lemon sauce was very nice. The chicken was battered in a very good crispy batter. I was hungry and ate it all before remembering to take a pic. It was a pretty good size for the price.

The pork sweet n sour had too much batter on them. The service lady was exceptional and friendly

Customer service great however food was very bland and quite frankly average. Prices are far too high for what you get.

Visiting from Adelaide and we stopped here as a spur of the moment, didn’t look like much from the outside but went inside and the staff were very nice and helpful, especially lady at the front counter who was very nice to our kids. The food came out at a good amount of time and was a fantastic amount for what we paid. All in all glad we stopped in and couldn’t recommend it enough if you’re in the area!

I can't remember what we had ordered but they are alright. I can't say they are the best chinese restaurant but it is good enough that there is a Chinese restaurant in Huonville.
The lady who took our order was very nice and attentive. So have nothing to complain about.

Delicious, freshly cooked to order meals. Eat in or take away available. Guaranteed to please everyone every time.

An excellent meal, we enjoyed it greatly. First time we've been able to visit since March, before my hip surgery, Covid hasn't helped.

Taste bad and Customer service was too bad they even don't know how to speak in english ask for veg fried rice gave with bacon

Probably the worst chinese food I've ever had, the fried rice was really horrible, looked like they put pizza ham in it and tasted like it had heaps of pepper, I couldn't eat it. The staff were friendly but they need to lift their hospitality skills. We were seated at a dirty table and the lady came over to clean it and managed to spray me with the cleaning spray. Then we were served our mains without any plates. The quality of the meat is not great either, it tastes old and had a weird texture. Quite disappointing, won't be back again.

Great, tasty "Aussie Asian" food. Many choices. All cooked to order. Neat, clean restaurant, attentive staff. Highly recommended.

Been here twice, got sweet and sour pork and rice, was tasteless and sauce goopy.
Thought maybe they had a bad day, went again. The girl at the counter clearly didn't understand English, and gave me something different than what I ordered from their menu. My own fault for not checking before leaving.
I ordered chicken no batter in honey and chili sauce.
What I got a quater chicken that was battered and sliced in one big container.
A really small container of yellowy and extremely bland sauce, that had some chili flakes in it to indicate it may have meant to be the honey and chili. And a portion of fried rice. Which I couldn't eat.
Most of the food went in the bin.
I won't make the same mistake again. Definitely not worth the price.
Avoid this place save your self from disappointment.

Very disappointing. Meat tasted old. Especially the pork. Onion undercooked and too much. No flavors or spices. Wantons in in soup dough and fried wonton meat tasted old also. Crispy noodles not crispy.

Ok for the price and portions, mild flavours. Busy place often but staff are friendly except the female Asian chef who sometimes just dump our orders on our table, no smile no talking, no response! 8 guess as long as she cooks well.
