Easy access just 4km off the highway on a gravel road. Lovely quite area. Secluded in a valley by itself. Good facilities. Well marked walks, and other interesting things to see. Wombats, wallabys, Tassie devils, etc.

Lovely place. Been near 30 year since i was last there, still just as wild as it was back then. Definitely one of tassies little gems.

Beautiful dry forest and sandstone landscape with lovely bushwalks throughout. A most enjoyable day out in the bush for the family

It's great place to relax for family. Kids love wombat track and eager to walk up to the caves. The trail is well-maintained. This place is quiet and it's great if we bring some changes to donate in the donation box which is in front of registration room.

Very different landscape from other walks we have done. Certainly very dry and rocky. Would be snake paradise in the summer, but it was a sunny winter day that we went so it was lovely. There are lots of variety of landscape throughout the walk, plenty to keep us busy. Eve's Bath at the bottom of the gully was a lovely spot to chill. There is also BBQ and picnic facilities on site.

Piece of Tasmanian history. Well preserved house of Nan Chauncy. Well maintained areas and shelter for picnics and plenty of walking trails for the energetic.

An idyllic bush setting, perfect for a picnic or overnight stay. Some well maintained walks, a historic home site and a history of welcoming visitors and encouraging conservation make this a must see destination. All within an hour of Hobart. Do yourself a treat and have a look for some of Nan Chauncy's stories to get the full experience.

Three families visited and were all delighted with this place. It has been kept in such a natural state. Kids loved it. Sought some assistance from the Caretaker and she was very helpful, inviting and friendly.

A great place to visit.
