Chatsworth Tasmania

Chatsworth house was the perfect place for our last holiday, and it is a holiday we will look back on with big pleasure for a long time! An incredibly beautifull furnished and spacious house with large bright rooms! And the view is wonderful!
Margit is a very friendly and accommodating host, and had made sure that there were homemade delicacies such as honey and jam ready for us, as well as fresh flowers on the table to welcome us.

Chatsworth House is a fantastic place to stay while in Tasmania. The house itself is superbly decorated with so many delightful touches that really add to the ambience and comfort, and the surrounds are magnificent -beautiful views across sheep laden paddocks, lush herb, vege and flower gardens and free range chooks roaming. We found Margit to be a very friendly and responsive host. There is so much to see and do in this part of Tassie and though hard to leave each day, Chatsworth House is the perfect base.

Wow what a wonderful relaxing Farm Stay located close to Launceston. There were six of us stay here and we all found the farm so beautifully presented and luxuriously decorated. The bedrooms were very comfortable, the kitchen well appointed and the living areas very comfortable. Afternoons were a delight sitting on the porch, watching the local habitat sipping a wine in the total peace and quite. We thoroughly recommend the Farm Stay and cannot thank the host enough for her hospitality.

Amazing country stay! Chatsworth is a must stay if you are looking for an incredible luxury experience! Close to Launceston and surrounding local country towns! It’s a lovely peaceful home with a large garden! I really enjoyed watching the Guinea fowls throughout the garden!

I have stayed in a lot of accommodation throughout Australia and Europe and Chatsworth Tasmania is undoubtedly a memorable and exquisite experience. Margit has furnished the whole house beautifully and with five star taste. The attention to detail is superbly noted. The rural surrounds rests the soul, with peace and tranquility. A little peace of heaven in Tasmania. PS, don’t forget to have a GnT under the ancient pear trees whilst watching the sun go down. Well done Margit and Henry
