5Wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage overlooking the bay. Well equipped, comfortable beds, wood combustion fire for cold nights, air conditioning also. Tastefully decorated. A real gem. Would definitely stay here again. The heated bathroom floor is an absolute delight. Thank you so much Essentially Tas for a perfect stay.

Also, do yourself a favour and avoid Ocean View Cottages in Dover.dirty shower recess (see photo)
What a hidden gem. Spent 3 nights over the Christmas period, in the very pleasant, pet friendly Castaway cottage. Very well appointed. Comfortable beds, beautiful outlook, extremely easy living. One thing that did surprise was the lack of instructions for the oven and hot plates operations. Everything else had instructions, we were surprised that the stove didn't have any. In the end we winged it with success. Thank you Essentially Tas for making Christmas 2020 about the only thing worth remembering.
Loved our 5 night stay in Castaways Cottage. The views are stunning. It is clean, well equipped, towels are luxurious & the under floor heating in the bathroom a welcome bonus. There’s plenty of space to relax in. Had to google instructions for the stove & washer/dryer so instruction sheet would have helped. (Instructions in the compendium were not enough). Altogether a lovely place to stay
It was truely everything we needed quiet, quaint, cosy with bay views and close to all the amazing walks in the area. It has been our best stay in Tassie this trip. Will definitely book again.
