This place is magic. Great course, super friendly people and amazing scenery. The wild weather just adds to the experience!

Needs money spent on carts, paths etc, looking very tired for a course of this rating. Great course design, views are spectacular

Amazing golf course, worth every cent.
The daily running, drink prices, general cleanliness of facilities, rooms and golf carts is a concern.

I was charged $57 for a six pack of Corona to take on course, I was given a plastic bag with some ice in it, felt rorted and when questioned about the cost, the young staff member responded with, if you have cash we can make it $50. How about $30, they don't need to rip people off like this.
FYI, I purchased a carton of Corona at the IGA in Currie for $67, so don't tell me things are expensive on the Island!

The staff whilst lovely, are young and seem to lack authority or direction in the day to day running. My advice, let the team at Ocean Dunes oversee the running of this course as well.

Having said that, I will be back to take on the challenge of this outstanding golf course, just won't be staying overnight.

Just awesome. You cannot believe the course and the way it winds itself through the coast and the dunes. Simply stunning to play. Just go and play there. There is no excuse not to. Complete bucket list item. You will want to go back. The last three holes will capture every golfer’s imagination.

Just played two rounds in two days here. The golf course is absolutely incredible and fully deserves its world class reputation. The 16th and 17th holes in particular are stunning. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the customer service and overall attention to detail. When we arrived on the first day the entrance stank of sewerage. It was unbearable. There was no soap or hand towels in the men's bathroom - hygiene is clearly not important here. The majority of staff are young British backpackers on working-holiday visas. They were rude and unprofessional throughout. Their lack of knowledge of even the most basic details was glaring at times. When my mate's cart broke down on the 6th hole he was told there weren't any other carts available, then a staff member brought a buggy out to him IN A CART. When he asked if he could have that cart the young girl told him "no, sorry, it doesn't have any brakes". Not good enough. Go above and beyond and find another cart for your customer who is paying hundreds of dollars for a round. This course is rated above the likes of Augusta, Pebble Beach and St Andrews - I can't imagine anything like this happening at these courses. The staff seem to think that the course is so good that the little details don't matter. They do.

Great golf course but club house abysmal. Toilets dirtiest I have ever experienced. Food even worse over priced and not edible. Club house has so many cobwebs that it appears to be part of the decor. Sheets on beds were badly stained Over all a great golfing experience but food, cleanliness. Service was not even second rate. Very disappointed

Played last week golf was amazing, accommadation was ok but no wifi was very dissapointing, The pro shop is very underwhelming and i bought a new shirt that just smelt like the fryer from the kitchen.
Alot of the menu was modified as no supplies but price was still the price.
Carts were a joke as we run out of battery twice but were assured they would last 36 holes.
Also couldnt even purchase bottles of water as they had run out

Went in to do a quick stock purchase, but always an amazing golf course to visit, dine in or play at. Been just over a year since playing here. Will update again with course photos if I'm not too busy playing the course. The views never cease to amaze me, even though I'm a local.

Golf great but food over prices and small portions. Orders bruschetta for $18 and came out with a small piece of toast with some toppings on top. Disappointing.

Didn't golf myself but those that did thought it was fantastic. Had dinner at the club house and was great.

Had the pleasure of playing this place and to say it was amazing is an understatement. The King Island courses are the pick of the bunch.move over Barnbougle

This is by far the most enjoyable AND specatcular golf course I have played. If I had to pick a course that I had to play every day for the rest of my life this would be it. Truly extraordinary. Every shot gives you choices.

Very good food, steak cooked perfectly. Cheesy garlic bread was a perfect way to start the meal. Unfortunately there were several items on the menu not available, for a 6.30pm seating. Whilst understandable on an island, it was disappointing.

This place was amazing, the accommodation was excellent.
The food sensational.
The view was to die for.
We are not golfers so cant comment on the course.

This place is just amazing. So many beautiful golf holes, very hard to choose a favourite. Locals are very nice. A step up in the beauty stakes from ocean dunes (and that was great)

Came here for some lunch during my trip to King Island. It's a beautiful location and, as my partner and I are vegan, I called ahead to see if they had options for us. The chef organised something bespoke that was quite nice! The tables could have done with a wipe but I was too busy looking at the views to care.

Expansive fairways and manicured greens. Every hole was a postcard. The only enhancement would be to have some better signage from hole to hole.

Very good. Accommodation was good. Needs a bit more parking spaces and ironing facilities. Wine glasses in the rooms. Service and staff were excellent.

Great place to play golf, some of the staff are excellent others not so much. If you want some great food and don't mind waiting hours for it to hit the table the it's a great place to visit.

Very challenging course for the amateur golfer but amazing coastal views while you look for you golf balls, but beware of the snakes.
